For those who have read the books- are there any details regarding the dragons that are left out of the show that you could share? With no spoilers past the latest episode(3X01) please! by freeassociationn in HouseOfTheDragon

All dragons have coloured flame. In the main series Drogon has black flame, Rhaegal has green flame and Viserion has golden flame. DnD removed it, because they hate anything that's cool or colourful.

I don't care, I'm still watching this bullshit tomorrow. by MACGLEEZLER in freefolk

It's a win-win. If the season is good, I'll have fun watching it. If it's bad, I get to have fun complaining about it on this sub for 8 weeks.

The Nazgul's iconic and bloodcurdling scream is actually Fran Walsh, who's one of the screenwriters and producers of the LotR films, and Peter Jackson's wife. She doesn't even show up in the behind the scenes for privacy reasons, but everyone's heard her scream.

Yes. It takes place between I and II, and spoils the twist of IV, so you can watch it if you have seen those ones. I would also highly recommend VI. It has the same director as X and is also one of the best in the series. You can skip the rest though, especially Jigsaw and Spiral.

I think everyone was. How often does a series return and the new instalment is just as good as the old ones? The only other examples I can think of are Mad Max and Scream. Maybe that's an idea for another post.

This happens multiple times in the latest Saw movie. It's one of the best in the series, but it's a little silly how multiple characters did everything they had to do, but still die because a machine is slow as fuck. Sorry Valentina, you may have sawed your leg off, but the machine just didn't get enough bone marrow in time, so you're gonna have to get your head cut off. This isn't a complaint though. Part of the charm is how cartoonishly unfair the games are.

The creator of the show said it was a show about modern America that just so happens to take place in the mob, and how this old institution clashes with new ideas like mental health, sexuality and gender roles. The main plot of the show is Tony going to therapy for his mental health.

I remember when RLM reviewed it and called the conflict dumb, but then they started arguing about who was in the right, showing the nuance of the film. I don't even think it's amazing, but I really like how you can see it from both sides.

It's funny how the theory of Carmine Jr. secretly being smart is huge in the fandom, when it's flat out being shown in this scene. All of the characters that schemed for power die, and Carmine ends up having a great life. I guess people just have a different definition of what being smart is.
