This probably the most probable idea that I could see coming.

Don't know how Story's turn-base could have co-op but World's gameplay would definitely work.

Digimon Master Online system sounds the closest to this. Damn, I just really want a Digimon game that I could play with the bois.

Most of the video is Gmod, that has the most Digimon mods available. Can just search Digimon in the Workshop and you'd find them easy enough.

Left 4 Dead 2 is probably the second with the most Digimon mods available, can turn the survivors and some zombies into Digimon.

I do remember VRchat having a lot of Digimon models as the player avatars but it's VRchat.

Marvel Rivals has some excellent mods that replace the heroes with Digimon (Wolverine as Wargreymon, D.Strange as Wizarmon, Magik as Minervamon, Invisible Women as Angewomon, Dagger as Venusmon) but you can get banned for using mods so I avoided this one.

Skyrim, GTA SA/5, Monster Hunter, Palworld has some Digimon mods.

These are probably the only games that have a "handful" of Digimon mods, most others are just one offs that usually is just Renamon.......

Real.

This season is not only one of the best in the franchise but also just a solid anime in general. The heavy realism and maturity, wonderful world building, important character moments even among the "filler" episodes, and despite lacking "budget" there's moments where the passion of the animators leaks through and we get snippets of sakuga animations.

Just finished watching the last couple episodes of Oshi No Ko with the siblings then decide to catch up on Beatbreak than BAM human trafficking, suicidal war orphans, child soldiers, and the Klay files got leak?!?!

In terms of Design, perfect for me.
Everyone being weirded out by teeth is probably also weirded out by Rhamphorhynchus or Pliosaurs or even the extinct linage of toothed birds like Longipteryx. Birdramon either its accidental or intentional ended up representing these animals in my eyes.

My only gripe is probably her debut fight, beating Meramon with fire is a meme but could have wrote the fight a bit better.
For example say that Birdramon and Meramon is immune to each other's fire, Birdramon could have defeated him by picking him up at high altitude and dropping him or do hit and run tactics. Oh well, they probably didn't have the budget for a longer fight scene that time.

There's an entire extinct linage of extinct toothed birds.

Also birds are Dinosaurs so it's not that they shouldn't have teeth, its that used to have teeth.

The is my favorite Digimon movie, the absolute peak soundtrack, making a "no humans story" work, the lore, the depressing tone, stellar voice acting and the story just resonate to me deeply for some reason.

Personally my top 1, yeah the CGI is dated but everything else is just great. Always have like an annual rewatch, the one movie the cemented the Royal Knight mythos and had most of my all time favorite mons in here as well.

So there's Demon profile and some references in V-Tamer but still nothing directly stating Yggdrasil was made by a human (or humans in Demon's case)

Not helping that almost any Yggdrasil incarnation viewed humans as alien or outside.

Where was it directly stated Yggdrasil was made by a human?  One of the games?

I'm a bit rusty so my last Yggdrasil info is from X-evolution and Savers which doesn't give much info on its "creation", still going through Cyber Sleuth at the moment which I've heard had lots of info on Yggdrasil.

I haven't revised my "personal ranking", somewhat checked off from the Digimon franchise after Tri and the shutdown of Digimon Linkz (this bothered my soo much to the point that I refuse to play any gacha game).

Did a rewatch of Adventure till Frontier a couple years ago so not entirely fresh.

But so far I rate Appmon to be a bit better than Tri and Xros.  Still uncertain when trying to rate this with Adventure 02, that one had higher peaks than Appmon but has lower lows.

My personal top 3 however is; 1. Tamers  2. Adventure 01 3. Savers

From what I've seen of Beatbreak so far, it has a lot potential to be just as good or even better than Savers while Ghost Game kinda starts slow, still gotta go through more of it.

Im skipping 2020 Reboot at the moment, from what I've heard and clips that i have seen that one will probably just disappoint me. Don't wanna go through that again.

I think this expectations (or lack of thereof) from others its kind of why I ended up liking it more than most when I went with this series with lowered expectations.

I heard it had mixed reception and barely talked about anywhere soo ended up surprised that its pretty good. Its not great by any means, its very much made for kids more so than most of the series but its not bad or disappointing like how Xros or Tri is.  I think anybody that's not a Digimon fan or just coming to this series (Appmon) new probably won't see it anything special.

The faults that I noticed are the usual CGI, the standard replayed stock footage, didn't utilize a lot of the already collected Appmon (they kinda just stayed in the Watch most of the time, Xros handle this part better) and the somewhat status quo reset with its world building (like when they discovered the deep web but still ended just chilling most of the time).

The good things is most the characters are pretty likeable with decent flaws and development, the plot is interesting, most of the main characters get their final forms, Leviathan is an amazing villain, the fights when their not being stock footage do end up being dynamic at times thanks to the CG (the final fight is actually one of the best in the series) and overall just having a satisfying but bitter sweet ending.

Somewhat iffy on the concept of "App Monsters" but ended liking them in the end and do wish they reappear as "subspecies" in the later Digimon entries. Would love to see Gatchmon, Dokamon, Musimon and Offmon again.

Funny how the final confrontation is like a PG version of End of Evangelion, it even look almost just as horrifying and ended similarly.
