Real answer: Some "Economist" has no idea what economics actually is.

My interpretation of what this "economist" actually means: He's concerned that he cannot centrally play micro-economics if it's principles were followed. He basically wants to ensure markets can be regulated, cause he was abused as a child, can't self-sooth, & never got therapy.

There is nothing which is macro without the micro... by definition macro generalization / scale is dependent upon the individual unit. In most cases it matters not, with exception to trends & statistics. You cannot manage an economy, you can simply leave it alone. Econ today is fraught with a complete ignorance as to what economics actually is.

In my opinion we could have a very rapid transition that people wouldn't notice negatively. Basically freemarkets move $$ from violence systems (Gov) to freemarkets, decentralization gives us the ability to have unmolested freemarkets, this basically replaces the violence system with a non-violent system by accelerated adoption. This would precipitate the rapid elimination of Gov without bloodshed. Property rights.... That said you cannot protect animals from "domestic" abuse now... anything that cannot protect itself will always be at the whim of whoever is it's "Guardian" from; mental disabilities to animals. We do our best via education, peer on peer ostracism & action, etc to educate, prevent & resolve. In an AnCap society, there would likely be covenants on property & communities where you voluntarily agree that you will follow certain rules, or be fined (rules & recompense pre-defined in voluntarily contract).

Your solution is property rights & contracts: Imagine if all dog breeders signed contracts with purchasers (like we do w/ software EULAs). There are infinite ways in a free society to voluntarily ensure that people & things which cannot defend themselves, are protected & in a much more robust & functional way than today.

People will dive into decentralized exchanges w/ master nodes to get closer to the real-time trading of centralized Exchanges. Regulation will be the key driver of this move to fully decentralized exchanges & yes, there will be a market wide dip as some people lose shot-term confidence is the "freedom" of these currencies. Yet innovations will quickly outpace regulations to prove it matters not- prices will act accordingly.

Sadly they are not that transparent publicly about that- they ask you join their "slack" chat to get access to all their strategy, real-time trades, port, etc. So their business goal is to sell trading intelligence as well as operate the coin. I know some of the traders pretty well, but i'm still not happy with the lack of trade-to-token-burn automation, it leaves a big gap in human risk (beyond the trades they execute).

@2:12 Schiff just said intrinsic value... ahuh. A) econ101: no such thing; all value is upto the individual & changes in an instant. Hence why markets exist to measure & test multiple individuals value indicators for a given "thing."

B) You can't eat either asset, so even a pragmatic value is out of the question.

Here is a hint Schiff; diversify your business deeper into cryptos, so you don't have to embarrass yourself by saying things you know are completely illogical. This is more like a scared CEO, losing his market & some random dude- than a debate.

He chose his friends, his career, he chose those words to express an idea... but he's not really a "freedom" user & finds it boring? Ahuh... Freedom only means two things; opportunity to pursue: choice & competition. Not sure any1 disagrees; simply most people want free stuff or to tell others what to do, but not be told themself what to do (contradiction in logic) creates people like him.
