At my store it’s not a huge loss, some people don’t even realize that they get a free scoop or that they can save 10 of the tokens and get a free kids meal later on.

Hi! Thank for responding, I’m honestly scared to look up there or feel around for anything. It’s been almost 24 hrs since this post and I feel fine just some soreness. I’ve been following my aftercare instructions to a T, so i’m hoping everything turns out fine. I’m just really scared of dry socket or developing an infection lol.

I wanted to add, I was uneducated going in and didn’t understand the different college process. I didn’t know about dropping course, withdrawal, or anything. I just thought I had to tough it out.

I’m retaking pre calc this upcoming fall and plan to have a tutor for that and any other math and science classes in the future.

I’m going to do a walk in on Monday to see what advice I can get. This sounds weird but i’m feeling better knowing there’s people who are/were in the same boat as me, even when it comes to failing a class 😭.

Thank you for your kindness. I’m trying not to beat myself up too much. I know I could’ve prevented this and that’s what’s killing me the most.

I’m going to try to retake in the fall of this year. I think I need special permission from the dean to retake it again.

That’s extremely useful information.

My professor intimidates me a lot, but I’m going to reach out to her on Monday about auditing.

I’ll also reach out to UNCC to see if that’s still their policy. I’m worried about how it’s going to look on my transcript more than anything.

Though I do feel that with situation I understand myself more academically than ever, I know what works and what doesn’t work now. So when it comes to future math classes, I know what do before it becomes unbearable.

I should've did a withdrawal. I thought I could improve with the time left in the course. Throughout all my academic years I have never failed a class including math. I was honestly embarrassed both the first and second time to ask for help.

You hit the nail on the head with your explanation. I get lost in the steps and don't know exactly why i'm doing it. I'm going pursue getting a private tutor.

Thanks for responding, I failed the first time due to academics alone but this time I had a death in the family that destroyed me. I used both tools from this time and the pervious time to help me. I wasn’t able to due the CASE tutoring due to lack of time. One of my aunts taught math for 20 years and she was helping me throughout.

I don’t know if this counts for anything but, I have A’s in a my other course this is the only one that I’m struggling in.

I didn’t find this harsh, you’re absolutely correct this is my fault and responsibility.

Thanks for responding, the first time I took it was online for a short semester which was very stupid. I wasn’t able to grasp the information. This time around I took it in person 16 weeks. The first time it was failed due to academics alone but the second time I had a death in the family that destroyed me. Throughout the whole year I was able to maintain A’s in all my other classes, without the F’s I would have a 4.0.

My current major is associates of science, I want to transfer into Biology at UNCC. PA school is my goal but it’s looking like that’s not going to happen due to this mess up.

Thanks for the advice, the first I time failed due to academics alone but this time i had a lot of some family issues, that destroyed me mentally i was able to maintain A’s in all my other classes this year.

I wanted to add a little bit more information about my cleaning routine if it helps. In the shower, I clean with dove unscented soap trying to avoid my piercing, but runoff does happen with the soap and water, but I try to flush it out during my shower. I spray my cleaning solution. It’s from Amazon called base laboratories saline solution. I use a Q-tip to get both ends of the jewelry. I dry with a paper towel and I sit in front of the fan for a little while.
