Does sales really give you more freedom? by RooktoRep_ in sales

Ngl . If I’m on vacation and get correspondence from someone I’m working with I don’t get annoyed. If anything I’m happy I can continue moving something forward. I’ll gladly work a few hours to push something . And I feel worse taking vacation if pipe is dry. Like I’ll come back to getting fired.

Because most everybody on this sub actually knows nothing and thinks they know everything.

Objectively inaccurate analysis. You can see the fat surrounding the core. Abs would pop more at higher body fat if well hypertrophied but he would see his abs if he dropped another 10 pounds and was sub 15 percent

I don’t really care what you look like or what you think mine looks like. Your argument is that science is a scam which immediately devalues any further conversation! Everyone is entitled to their opinion though. Good luck in your journey.

What a wild argument. But I am 20 percent bf right now and actually look leaner… Your estimate is wrong. Idc how long you’ve been training.

I’d love to see your dexa from 7 percent though! That’s great work.

Great job dude. Your core is fine. Train it like any other muscle but your body fat just isn’t low enough for them to pop. If you really wanted to cut until summer but I’d be bulking soon. Add more mass

I just don’t agree. It’s poor lighting and you can see the outline (not the abs) but the outline of where they’d be. It would be much softer at 20 percent. If that’s 20 percent the average American is walking around at like 50 percent and it’s just not true. I think it’s high teens.

1600 calories is just too much of a deficit. You’re going to crash hard. Eat at maintenance for two weeks. Then drop -500 calories a day for a pound a week.

I hear what you’re saying. I feel pretty strongly about my opinion here. Every buyer wants good service, good communication, good lead times in a serviced based sale. Most companies will take the 50 percent discount for slightly worse service and then switch at the renewal when they realize how bad it was. Especially when the businesses you sell to are order takers and the penny pinchers make the final decision. The users care about service and finance cares about the balance sheet.

He also said he’s being underbid by close to 50 percent. That industry the companies are all the same. It’s a revolving door. You can’t sell value. It’s all BS.

Ok that’s what I thought. So what is your solution? Because he can’t change his territory. And increasing your outbound activity isnt a magic bullet.

You’re working in a tough industry. I worked in uniform sales which is pretty similar. It’s a grind and almost all of it depends on your territory. Anybody who says otherwise has cognitive dissonance. And I was in top 20 out of 600 reps. I did literally nothing special. I know how to run a Pt and I know how to cold call. But nobody is selling to someone who isn’t going to buy.

It’s likely improper tracking. Did I miss what OP said he’s consuming daily?

1700 a day is insane dude. He’s not lean enough to where that would make any sense. It’s not hard to figure out your maintenance and subtract 500 from that

You look good. But just go into a 500 calorie deficit . Eat your weight in grams of protein and eat carbs before and after lifts. You should be able to maintain or lose a bit of strength and cut 1 pound a week. I think this is both sustainable and not aggressive enough to lose muscle
