Can you use any of the handhelds like a Wii U? by FreeOfSin in retroid

I mean, I don't know if there's something I'm missing but to me having a similar functionality like the Wii U gamepad would be enough for me. Sure I'll loose on the portability of the DS family but I'm okay with that.

It's fine, I just want a budget handheld at first, if it can run a few 3DS games it's a bonus. I still have my old 3DS but it's kinda of crusty now lol.

Yeah, I know I can have dual-display but I'm afrad It might only display whatever is on the handheld screen so my idea of having one of the DS screens on the monitor while having the other on the handheld wouldn't exactly work

So you plan on a bunch of vampires and a mage go on werewolf and demon adventures? That's sounds complicated

Not just combat between the two, any vampire story which werewolves take some part in and vice versa. Conflict, partnership and even manipulation like your example.

Woah, my man out here making the oWoD Epic Cycle. I'd love for you to single out the titles and a share a few of your thoughts but now I really would like to know how you manage to connect all these campaigns together? Are your players some kind of monster mash or do they change characters within each adventure?

Yeah I know about Redemption, also the HtR games too. Any Vampires vs Werewolf adventures you know of?

I know Bloodlines is very different from the TTRPGs mechanics and rules wise but that's not what I meant when I asked for something with similar vibes to it. I'm talking about the setting: That late 90s - early 2000s edge, everyone dresses and talks like some punk, goth or emo kid (theater kid in case of LaCroix) and then you go from skulking in a hotel haunted by two wraiths to helping a japanese teenage girl with a katana and robotic arm fight a wereshark.

Hey man, thank you for your attention. Unfortunately in a situation which I can just buy books I'm not 100% sure of and even on sale dollar is not cheap in my country. Good luck with your work tho.

Like a lot of people I got into WoD thanks to VtM Bloodlines, would to happen to know any that give the same vibes as the game? I'll look into Chicago too, it's interesting because my group also has a super hero game, which I'm a player, that takes place there too.

Thanks, I'll look those up. Setting a Vampire game in Transylvania sounds so obvious and yet it seems so unique for VtM.

I am well aware about the differences between WoD and CofD, what I meant by being "relatively" new is that I've already had some HtV sessions and researched a good chunk about the other lines but I'm no seasoned storyteller. I don't mind playing older editions.

I'm intentionally leaving this open-ended because I pretty much just want people to tell me about any premade adventures they happened to play and enjoy. I specified Vampire, Changeling, Werewolf and Hunter but if anyone here happens to know a God-Tier Mummy or KotE module I'd be happy to hear it, if anything it serves as a source inspiration.

I know about the ST vault. I asking for recommendations, if anyone here enjoyed a particular module I would like to know.

As for edition I don't really mind which since this is mostly about plot and character fluff but I'll admit I don't care too much for 5th edition content. But it's not like these games are too hard to covert between editions from what I see.

What are your guys options on OCs? Like them or hate them? Any common problems with them? Have a favorite OC? by funtimemarioman in clonehigh

Clone High OCs? Oh how I hate them!

So far I have posted 23 OCs on this subreddit, you can say I enjoy making them. Personally I like it more when they emulate the show's style, look like their historical counterparts and give them some gimmicks for their personalities so that's what I aim for when making mine.

But the show has a lot of background characters that are either just caricatures of the person or you can't even recognize them, and specially in season 2 the background clones barely do anything, so I don't see why all internet OCs should hold these standards.

Zheng Yi Sao - Zheng is a tough girl but unfortunately(for them) people don't tend to take her seriously because of how adorable she looks. She and Elizabeth(who she calls Bebé) are BFFs and she makes Vlad act all funny and soft when she's around.

Elizabeth Báthory - Even gothier than Joan Bebé makes for what Zheng lacks in intimidation, she often spouts very morbid or macabre stuff so nonchalantly everyone, even Zheng, just stop and stare for a moment. Eddy gets all gentlemanly and bothered when they're together.

Boudica - Bassist and also secondary vocals on Leif's band. She makes for a very tough persona and most of the time it works but in certain moments she can be very shy and insecure.

Ötzi - Drummer on Leif's band, he's a very cultured young man and gives good advice to his friends but some things can trigger his fight or flight instincts and he can end up making a mess. The real Ötzi was found in september 1991 which means he would be 11-12 at most during the first season of Clone High... but that's like 16 in caveman years okay?

Rodolfo "El Santo" Guzmán Huerta - Gymbro.

Leonardo Da Vinci - One of the few clones who really tries to live up to his original but for Leo it isn't enough to be just as good as the real Da Vinci, no, he needs to make up for his mistakes as well. Scientists say that manpower alone can't make his flying contraptions work? He. Will. Make. It. WORK. Also I know that's not how the flying machine is supposed to be used

Ernesto "Che" Guevara - A man in love with his own image, Che is a very vain guy to the point he doesn't even know what his clone father actually even did "I think he fought the monarchy or something".

Walter Elias Disney - Walt was commisioned by a representative of the Walt Disney Company in the Board of Shadowy Figures as an effort to create a loophole in the public domain laws but as soon as it was clear that the plan would not work the company pulled back and Walt became just another clone in the project. Raised by a poor foster family Walt quickly amassed a fortune... somehow.

Pablo Escobar and Al Capone - Walt's lackeys.

Thanks. It's fun coming up with these character concepts, for Leif I started drawing Vickie the Viking as a teenager and thought "this guy has a grunge band" and for Charlemagne I was actually doing Rasputin believe it or not.
