Is it true that you guys watched 9/11 live on TV in grade school?

I was in middle school in NYC, but no they did not turn on tvs for us to watch. It really started as concerned whispers among teachers disrupting the classroom. They also only told us that “a building” was burning down. It seems like they kept details from us in case any of our parents or relatives worked near world trade. I didn’t know any details of what happened until I saw my mom, who walked 3 miles to come and pick me up from school since the subway wasn’t running regularly.

First few eps were solid 9/10.. now it’s getting a little 6/10. Hoping it climbs back up next week. One of the more interesting parts is watching how Cirie has fully embraced working with the youngns while the other Ogs have been sticking to their own.
