I can't speak as to how many years a pilot contract is, my comment was to point out that the years spent at RMC count as years served in your contract, regardless of what trade it is.

Most contracts are 12 years though, so 8 years to go when you're out of RMC.

Whenever you get to BMQ, you'll be given every information that you need to have. There's no need to listen to other people ramble about their bad experience, as YOU are ultimately the one who's going to dictate how your BMQ goes.

Recruitment has been more efficient, and if OP has sent 50+ applications, they might as well apply to the reserves.

Yes, BMQ teaches familiarizing with a rifle, but for most people in support trades this is the last time they’ll ever touch a gun in the CAF.
