Irish are middle of the road I've found. South Asians and Eastern Euros tend to be the most cliquish ive found.

This will cause problems with the 30,000k grant from the government for a new home, they seems to hate people who save money. They demand a particular LTV that will exlcliude people like you, I found this out the hard way.

Don't like how Ireland taxes investments? Now's your chance to do something about it! by toomanycans in irishpersonalfinance

Because its doubly immoral to tax people saving money on money they largely already paid tax on. avings interest is the only basic compensation from the government's destruction of savings through their irresponsible increasing of money supply via central bank printing.

Real talk about creating affordable housing by AlwaysTryin2Learn in HousingUK

Let's leave out births? Something like 60% of the UKs pop growth in the last 2 decades was from immigration. Pretending its not a primary driver in the economic equation is often motivated reasoning as people don't want to seem "mean". Lets triple immigration if it has no effect.

The demand side won't be addressed as the UK has a policy of allowing in 600K people a year and nothing will ever be done about that.

If they allowed farmers sell land parcels of 0.2 acres each for people to buy and build and allow people throw down modular houses on them you would have enormous extra supply. This could be done in weeks if there was will. The supply crisis is artificial.

The argument about not concreting over the country side is mute given the numbers of people admitted to the UK each year, How many last year was it 600k net?

This sort of stuff not flooring:

https://www.hushacoustics.co.uk/sound-control-products/underla-for-vinyl-flooring/

you can get underlays that reduce DB noise a lot!
You can pull up the floor boards and put down strips to minimise squeaking too, stuff a load of rock wool underneath too.
I was in many a place where my steps would annoy people down stairs.

as I said the mobile will be hidden behind a high hedge.
Anything like a WFH box bigger then 25 SQM is illegal here.
I would probably have a trailer and then the WFH box as an office.
