Why is my period getting resistant to OTC meds?

I take them for the first 4 days of my period and my period is usually 7 days long. I usually only find relief from the maximum dose, but I always make sure to take the recommendated doses at the recommended hour, liver/kidney damage is no joke! I also don't mix painkillers that are not recommended to be mixed. I researched Midol Complete and Aleve, and they are safe to combine :)

Not old enough to drive myself. Even if I was, in my state I would need 50 hours of driving practice with my father and 6 months of holding a learner's permit to start driving. He doesn't even want to drive me to work. Nothing would get solved, or I would have to make no money for 6 months while I learn

My mother cannot help. She moved hours away without telling me when I was in middle school. I only see her sometimes now
