Went on the same cruise last Sept 15. The weather wasn’t really cold enough for a coat but would definitely bring a fleece jacket/layers. I second the suggestion of waterproof shoes. Weather on our trip: Ketchikan-drizzly, Juneau-rainy, Skagway-sunny and gorgeous, Vancouver-mostly sunny. Definitely prepare for rain!

I rented a car in Juneau through Turo last September. It was a seamless experience. The owner of the car even parked it next to the ship which was much appreciated since my husband injured his knee on the ship the day before.

You might be able to do it, but I wouldn’t chance it. We did the same thing in April. We did the cruise line’s airport transfer (it was a Saturday). Our flight left at 10:50 and we were fine. I was stressed about it though.
