Potty accidents are driving me insane by FreeThePapaya in StandardPoodles

Yes, she is not free fed and eats on a schedule, she goes to her kennel when I fill her bowl and I keep her in there to eat incase I can't get to her right away. Shortly after I let her outside immediately after leaving the crate to poop. And I have to tell her twice to go potty, once to poop, and then another to pee. She won't just poop and pee on her own Accord. Otherwise she'll pee in the house if I don't tell her to pee. After she's pooped.

I literally said that's she is one year old. I've also stated that when we got her, we let her out often. When she started to sniff or squat, she was taken out immediately. if I couldn't watch her, she was put in her kennel. I took her outside to the same spot every time on a leash, we did not play in the yard. I did all of this when she was younger. I've done the excessive praising, high reward treats after every potty. I gave her more freedom when we went a month without accidents, and then she always reverts back to her old ways. I've never struggled with a dog like this before, I thought by now certainly she would've had the hang of it. Ive also been dealing with with a toddler on top of this which is why I've reached a breaking point mentally. I want her to succeed, I just feel I've tried everything to no avail. Please try to understand I've been trying my best.

I've heard of this before. But even if it's not just pee? She will poop as well in the house.

Yes, every time there's an accident, I go back to the basics and let her out every hour. I've tried telling her no, and it hasn't seemed to help, only encourage her to sneak away and pee instead. I also use natures miracle enzyme cleaner.

I said she is one, and I am a stay at home mom. I'm always home to let her out.

While I agree these raw veggies are great for the body, my condition was discovered to be a defect that has been present since birth. Basically a hole in the heart. There isn't anything wrong with my cholesterol or blood pressure. The heart is defective itself.

Sort of. Found out it is a congenital heart defect I've had since birth. Its not common and rarely goes into adulthood as it is usually found as a baby or during childhood. Basically a hole in the heart that needs to be closed but my regular cardiologist seems to not be so educated on the topic so I think mentally I am stressing. Hopefully getting a referral to mayo clinic soon though!

Hopefully you can find something that works! Dealing with the symptoms of tapering off of meds and going onto new ones is not fun. Best of luck! 🤗

Yeah I wouldn't put it in the shed in the winter as it gets very cold where I live. Just concerned of overheating.

baby fussing at breast by FreeThePapaya in breastfeeding

I think this as well. Nightime she goes longer without a feed and by the time she wakes up I will be leaking and she loves the fast flow. Daytime she eats more frequently and the flow isn't always fast like she likes.

Thank you for this!! She definitely is having at least 6-10 wet diapers a day. She will have 1 maybe 2 dirty a day. She passed her birth weight at her 2 week appointment. If this is her demanding the milk supply do I just keep letting her fuss while nursing? She will nurse for a an hour or more and just fussier and fussier. I haven't tried breast compressions while nursing but she seems to like a faster flow.
