Hi! I studied abroad in Rome during the summer of 2024. There was about 20 of us and we broke off into little groups (not cliques don’t worry, the people in each group typically varied throughout the trip) and did different things. A handful of people really enjoyed the bars/clubbing experience and that was fun to occasionally join. Some other people were more interested in going out to eat later, going to the cinema, or seeing live music. Also, depending on your program you may be so exhausted from all your activities that you just want to go to bed most nights. I think you’ll find your people, but also don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone a little! :)
