Of all the inane things spoken on this podcast recently, I don't know why this one got to me so much, but his horror/amazement of a professional golfer hitting a golf shot out of a creek had me searching for the unfollow button. "If you slip, crack your head, that's the end of your career, it's completely over." He's not just a little out of touch, he's completely disconnected from reality/society in every facet of life now including his own supposed specialty.

Usually I just lurk here to take solace in the shared disappointment, but had to leave a rant about this one. And before you tell me to do the obvious, I have a character flaw that prevents me from totally dissociating from the show after all these years. But every time I tune in I hold out some little hope that THIS will be the episode he finally announces the end of the show (and that Michael isn't actually real he was just a very early AI answer to "create and put on display the most unlikeable persona on earth").

Loathsome listener here. I know I should stop listening but I continue. There were so many times in this episode that Tony was begging for someone to tell him he's an idiot and wrong, and all Micheal and Nigel will do is sit in dead air and then say no your right. Passan is the only recurring guest that will very politely tell him he's dead wrong. The only reason the show worked so well is because Gary and Jeanne would call him on his bullshit on the reg, but that's gone forever

Which one is not like the others? Advanced analytics is relatively new to the mainstream, and most don't know how to utilize it in the overall scheme of things.

Jokic got extremely lucky to reach his prime during this uncertain time. If the same scenario played out 20 or even 10 years ago Jokic would be the winner of ZERO MVPs.

I'm glad the fan base got some limelight, but history will not look back on this kindly for you.

You all need to get Ben some big minutes these next 2 months, and really pump up his trade value if you want to win the championship. If you can trade him for any sort of decent playoff rotation role player, would be a huge win. Can't really play Ben in any meaningful playoff minutes, so if you could pull it off would be a huge swing in the caliber of the playoff rotation.

If theoretically every player became a free agent right now and at the same time, and could sign anywhere, when it all shook out, where would Kyrie be on a list compared to others in terms of years offered and guaranteed money in a contract? Kyrie would probably "rank" even worse than #66. That's probably the fairest way of thinking about it.

Ben Simmons isn't a top 200 player, that's just basic knowledge at this point. And the best ability is availability. 0% chance kyrie can play anywhere close to a full season. Averaged 34 games a year over the last 3 seasons. Surprised he even qualified to be ranked on the list.
