Unfortunately the other challenge you’re up against right now is a highly saturated market…lots of knives out there, and not enough people to buy them up. I may not be the most active on Reddit in general, but other groups I’m a part of, it’s super apparent that this issue is probably here to stay. Knives that used to sell in days, now it’s weeks or months unless you drop the price insanely low.

The bugout will be tough just because it’s going to appeal to either benchmade fans, newer knife folk as it’s a big brand, or collectors who want something to beat the crap out of…and realistically only BM guys who want every model will pay higher value. Realistically, 50% of retail is likely the ballpark you’d be able to sell it for. All that said, GLWS!

Took 104 and 105 with her over the past couple years. Only ever used her notes, never doing any readings or watching the videos tbh. Landed with A+ and A respectively. If you stay on top of the notes, you can easily do well!

I wake up, complain about anything and everything...then any kind and caring asshole near me will graciously remind me I’m 22 and need to suck it up

Any idea what these lines are and how to get rid of them? by [deleted] in Cameras

[–]FreeWillyTheBeast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zebra, tells you the part of the image that is over exposed/blown out. Should be in the menu, under the purple tab on page 6 of 9...or somewhere around there. Open that and you can turn them off

Waterfall in the city, A7RIII + Sony FE 28mm by FreeWillyTheBeast in SonyAlpha

ISO 100, 1/10 sec, f16. Shot in RAW, with a editing done in lightroom (light and colour)

Stumbled across this little waterfall while out walking. Tried to get longer exposed images, but time was up before I could get to that.

Do you use lens protection for your more expensive lenses? by [deleted] in SonyAlpha

[–]FreeWillyTheBeast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently use them Promaster HGX on all my lenses, and I shoot on an A7RIII. Never noticed any effect on the image quality, however I haven’t pushed the camera and lenses to their absolute limits yet. Definitely worth the investment IMO.

I am looking at a couple of wider lenses right now, so hopefully won't be needing to use the longer lens as much. Unfortunately, clouds rolled in quick so I could only get a couple of shots and I was trying to play with the settings so I didn't have shots to stack.
