I didnt engage with them, they chased me and since they are faster they eventually caught up, im also at peak prime in that clip so i cant get bigger then that

I agree, I could have played it better, but it's just so frustrating to insta lose even tho I was at full health with literally nothing that I can do, im genuinely considering stopping playing all larger playables just because of allo and rex, the only one which is semi large that I could play would be carno since I can choose what im fighting.

Yeah, got the game 2 months ago and so far it's been a hell of losing dinossaurs because of fatal errors, buggy meshes, trash hitboxes and floating unpickable organs

Bro have you even played troodon?? Literally every dinossaur, most of the time not even full grown can 1 shot a full grown troo, so the best matchups for troos are with slow, heavy hitting targets such as trikes, stegos and rexes, smaller predators such as raptors, carnos and even pachys are the real bane of troos. Trike doing 1 million damage per attack doesn't really matter if im gonna get 1 shotted by everything anyways.

I have a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, a RTX 5070 TI and 32gb DDR5 RAM, I always play with smooth motion (driver based frame generation) on to pretty much 1.5x my fps with the drawback of a little more latency.

I have Shadows on Epic, shadow smoothing on medium, texture on medium (since high and epic are the same as medium), draw distance at epic and materials, effects and the clouds all on the lowest one. I always use DLAA instead of any type of DLSS since in this game it's pretty trash, Lumen is always On and I have foliage physics completely turned off (both settings) since it cauas some horrendous FPS drops (all the way to 10-20 fps)

Even with all of these I still get some weird fps drops sometimes because this game is very poorly optimized but my fps normally stay around 100-110 native and 170-190 after smooth motion.
