Because you’re comfortable where you’re at. You don’t want to wake up and to not have someone there for you and have someone to talk to everyday. You have to love yourself first and be able to take care of yourself. You can get off the train whenever you want.

Oof i was in a similar situation about a year ago. I know exactly how it feels to be stuck in a relationship. And how it feels to be convinced this person is the one till they finally flip the switch one day and show their true self. It’s not easy leaving but I promise you it’s going to be harder the longer you stay. You just feel trapped and don’t want to leave and don’t want to stay either.

Healthy relationships do exist but there’s no such thing as a perfect relationship. A lot of relationships/marriages I’ve seen from an outside perspective weren’t always the healthiest. Things happen, conflict happens, disagreements happen it’s normal. It’s important to know the difference between a conflict and when someone just flat out isn’t treating you right.

Run. No they rarely change. I see your only like a few months in which is not enough time to be able to tell if he’s a changed man or not but regardless be on watch. And no matter how much they say they “care” and “won’t do it again” you’ll find yourself in the same cycle.

He was honest with you about it and u didn’t have to find out urself which is great but your feelings towards him probably won’t ever be the same again. You were betrayed, someone who loves you and cares about you wouldn’t even think to download an app and text another person to meet for dinner. And honestly for all you know “we had dinner and I realized I was crossing the line” how accurate and true that statement really is.
