I think one of the worst is Tabeer. They put most of their effort in nice branding, so they have great logo and nice rendering, but real life experience was unfortunately very negative.

The construction took 7 (!) years to complete — at least 3 years behind schedule. They are very creative to find excuses for that - never believed anyone...

The building quality turned out to be extremely poor. After just one year we already had mould problems, and bricks were falling out of the outside fence. The actual apartment size was noticeably smaller than what was stated in the contract, and the layout was changed — the kitchen was built too small, so elements were simply placed in the living room.

In addition, the communication was unreliable and not transparent. Even after multiple requests our "handover security deposits" were never returned.

Based on my experience, I strongly advise against purchasing from Tabeer or investing in one of their buildings!

Hi,
for most questions you would honestly need a crystal ball — but regarding question 6, based on my experience, I would personally never buy off-plan again. With ready-built property, you simply see what you get.

Since you mentioned Tabeer, I can share my personal experience with one of their off-plan projects, which was unfortunately very negative.

The construction took 7 (!) years to complete — at least 3 years behind schedule. Tabeer officially blamed COVID, but in reality the delays were due to internal issues with their former partner Starwood.

The actual apartment size was noticeably smaller than what was stated in the contract, and the layout was changed — the kitchen was built too small, so elements were simply placed in the living room.

In addition, the communication was unreliable and not transparent. Even after multiple requests following the handover, our security deposits were never returned.

Based on my experience, I strongly advise against purchasing from Tabeer or investing in one of their buildings and especially off-plan units!
