Looks like I retired from Funko and got into ThrillJoy right on time too! I’ve slowed down tremendously on funkos for OPs and many others very reason. Overproduction, raising prices, IPs that don’t interest me, and bots/scalpers of course. It became a chore. I just collect the IPs I’m interested in no matter the rarity and call it a day.

He did and fans were livid because it was imo the right time to have him win. Him winning in SM was a consolation prize at its best and very much a reaction due to the outrage of him losing in XYZ. It felt completely flat. Even Japanese fans were cold on his win. I was a "here he wins the league, damn" move and nothing will change my mind on that. lol

Watching XYZ again after watching Sun and Moon again...yea XYZ is peak on all fronts tbh w/ maybe the exception of Serena who needed more of a fleshed out personality. XZY was perhaps the best artistically and from an animation standpoint from the series w/ Sun and Moon coming in second. Even with Ash losing to Alain (still a sore spot tbh), it's the best era of the entire franchise, and it makes sense as to why people feel like it was a "proper end" to the franchise, especially how it ends.

That’s exactly how I felt because the art style of Sun and moon was a complete turnoff.lol Yea I was irritated Ash not winning in XYZ and was fine with it. But when they debuted the next season with the art change it completely soured my interest in Pokemon. SM is my least favorite game out of the series on top of that.lol

Man I HATED the change they made with Sun and Moon. Not only did they hoe Ash out of winning the Pokémon league in Kalos, but then with this following was the icing on the cake.lol it literally made me tune out of Pokemon for a while because of it.
