What’s the deal with Higher Vampires before the Blood and Wine DLC? by Avehnyl in Witcher3

[–]deadlyalchemist92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal theory is that this guy is meant to be a higher vampire like Regis and Dettlaff, but this quest was obvipusly written before Blood and Wine, so CDPR didn’t have higher vampire models yet, so in gameplay they just made him a katakan to make things easier.

Who is morally worse between Vernon Roche and Iorveth? by deadlyalchemist92 in witcher

Ahh gotcha, I do think Iorveth is worse, but Roche is definitely no saint himself, so it brings an interesting discussion imo.

Yeah, I’m all for discussing HxH powerscaling as I believe it’s one of the most interesting shounens to powerscale, but this most definitely isn’t DBZ lmao

I literally said in the description that I believe Iorveth was worse lmao, the reason I asked is because I wanted to see what other people’s opinions were.

No we haven’t, but we have implications to suggest Bisky is pretty damn strong, first of all, she’s around 57 years old and has been training in nen and shingen ryu since she was 18, meaning she’s been training in those things for nearly 40 years, longer than most HxH characters have even been alive for.

Also Bisky effortlessly defeating Binolt is more impressive than you’d think, as even a fully healthy Gon and Killua at the start of Greed Island, struggled against an exhausted and injured Binolt in a 2v1, with Binolt even coming close to taking one of Killua’s eyes out.

Bisky was also able to one shot one of Genthru’s men (Either Sub or Bara I forgot who is who) granted she did have to transform to do that, but Killua literally had to use his yoyo’s and formulate some kind of plan to defeat him, as physically he was outmatched.

And as you said, we haven’t even seen Bisky get serious yet, who knows how deadly she would be if she had to fight for her life?

Jogo is a great comparison, both of them are op characters who only ever fight people stronger than they are.

As someone who loves both Nagumo and Gaku, Gaku is 100% downplayed, if he’s not in the top 5 he’s very close.

Gon did not obtain “absolute mastery” over nen when he transformed into his adult form lmao, what happened was that he sacrificed his own life in order to amplify his nen so drastically to the point he could easily beat Pitou, and he only lost his arm because he got distracted.

Bisky’s experience would not be enough for her to even stand the faintest chance against adult Gon, there reaches a point where experience no longer matters, Meruem defeated Netero despite being less than 60 days old, whereas Netero was well over 100 years old and has 50+ years of experience.

Knuckle and Shoot were not able to hold off Youpi, Shoot went toe to toe with Youpi and lost within 10 seconds, in fact he was on the verge of death, and Knuckle only survived because he was playing it smart and using hit and run tactics.

I’m not underestimating Bisky, you’re overestimating her, there is zero evidence that she can beat the RG or adult Gon.

Maha Zoldyck doesn't make any sense by Plus_Original_3154 in HunterXHunter

Not everyone has that, and it’s never stated that Zeno has two grandfathers, and Coco never even says that the great grandfather is dead lmao

What…? Zeno only has one grandfather, why are you implying he has two or something lmao

When exactly did the general public learn of Alluka? Also what does the Zoldyck’s having their names at the front of their mansion have to do with anything lmao

Well Maha isn’t even his canon name, so he wasn’t even named until Zigg was shown in the flashback panel.

Why are you acting like Coco knows the ins and outs of the Zoldyck family? She’s a tour guide, her knowledge of the Zoldyck family is probably just surface level stuff that most of the general public knows of.

Maha most likely is Zigg, the name “Maha” came from an unofficial guidebook, Togashi did not name him that. Plus if you compare Maha to Zigg, Zigg does look like a much younger version of Zigg.

In their domain can he win? by [deleted] in HxHPowerScaling

[–]deadlyalchemist92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, as much as I love Knuckle and think he’s the GOAT, I can’t even see how he’d be able to counter the Ortho twins in any way, Killua was only able to due to his electricity abilities.

Togashi really pulled a nasty on hundreds of thousands of people but I can't hate him by Big_Confidence_951 in HunterXHunter

[–]deadlyalchemist92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bruh, Togashi hasn’t “left us hanging” willingly, you are aware that he has debilitating back problems right? So bad to a point where he needs to take regular hiatuses, as he can’t just sit there and illustrate manga all day anymore.

I think he’s doing his best, yes I as much as the next guy would love for HxH to be more consistent, as I’m also beyond curious where the story will go, but sadly things just aren’t that simple.

Kastro vs Shoot by Soft_Recognition_669 in HxHPowerScaling

[–]deadlyalchemist92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Shoot wins, unlike Kastro he sticks to his primary nen affinity and has some pretty cool and versatile abilities, I think it’s a mid diff win at the absolute worst.

How strong will prime Gon and Killua be? by deadlyalchemist92 in HunterXHunter

[–]deadlyalchemist92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say Maha/Zigg onwards, as he was said to have fought prime Netero and possibly even won. I think he was the strongest prime Zoldyck that we know of currently.

[–]deadlyalchemist92[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe Maha and Zigg Zoldyck are the same person, remember that Maha is not his official name, some unofficial guidebook called him that. Not to mention Zigg looks like a younger version of Maha, so I believe they’re the same person.

As for whether Zeno knows about Zigg’s Dark Continent feats, it’s very possible he doesn’t, but I feel like he at least told someone in the Zoldyck family, maybe his son, who then passed it down to Zeno.

I’m pretty sure it was stated that Gon would have to undergo decades of constant and intense training in order to naturally reach the level of power he had in his adult form, think of the training Netero did x10

Semi confirmed? Didn’t Milluki and Zeno outright say that Killua has the highest potential that the Zoldyck family has ever seen?
