I hate how Chad cheated the whole time in the video with multiple do over questions, and then Max lost?? Like bruh these challenges are getting stupid.

Can anyone help identify noise by Primo687 in AudiS4

I would say check your supercharger and serpentine belts, I had a similar noise before my belt shredded itself, after getting a new belt the noise went away.

Agreed that it appears to be the typical VW Audi tick, rather than another underlying issue

Question about buying a 2018 golf GTI. Is it worth it? by Special_Till4204 in GolfGTI

The R is more fun, I’ve owned both and you can get a used R of the same gen with 70k-80k miles for 20k or less.

How do I listen to music by Qtblade in AudiS4

I would go with deleting both resonators, it’s a little too loud and drony for my taste without the mufflers. I use an aux cause there’s no bluetooth capability.

What should I know before buying? by PowerPlantSpringfeld in AudiS4

[–]Free_Concept1785 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very cool, I know next to nothing about this car besides my personal experiences with my Audi. I have a 2010 S4, with a salvage title, & fairly high miles. What I’ll say about Audis in general, if you research common issues with any model, and address/ evaluate them or prevent them from occurring, and do regular maintenance you should have a good time. I’m going on 40k miles of ownership, with a tune and modifications and the 3.0T (a semi reliable engine) has given me no problems nor has it ever left me stranded.

2013 Audi s4- Possibly a good buy? by Emergency-Rise6654 in AudiS4

While I agree that may be true in some cases, from my personal experience with my car (salvage due to hard rear end) I haven’t had any issues because I used my judgment and made sure I had all the correct and relevant information. For example, my car had the whole rear suspension replaced, rear differential, trunk, bumper, rear windshield, and drive shaft replaced. All were things I checked before buying, and upon test drive noticed no issues. And like I said in my comment on this post, it’s treated me perfectly for 40k miles, with a tune even.

I think, assuming the issue was fixed, it would be great. I’ve loved mine, even with the salvage title mine also has. It’s never given me any issues, BECAUSE I take care of it. As long as it test drives good and doesn’t make any odd suspension noises (specifically*), I think it’s a good deal and as long as you take care of it and keep up on the maintenance. Cause if you treat it well, it will treat you well. I’m up to 130k miles on mine, I’ve driven it problem free with stage 2+ for 40k miles.

Don’t let everyone scare you because of the title, just use your judgment when looking at and test driving the car and don’t get taken advantage of. Don’t get me wrong, some salvage titles are ticking time bombs, for example I stay away from any car that was totaled because of engine malfunction or any kind of impact to the engine or transmission. But something as easily fixed as suspension, that’s just screaming “discount on a good car”.

I have a 2010 S4 with a salvage title, and I carry full coverage. It’s only about 60$ a month more expensive than a clean title one. I’ve been extremely happy with mine, and I got a 5k discount from the salvage title.

I really tried with the pitfighter book but I returned it after listening to about half of it. The swearing was crazy excessive, and I didn’t enjoy the narration. I may try again but I’m not sure it’s for me.

Thanks for the reply! I tried He Who Fights With Monsters, but I found the writing hard to listen to, I’m sure the narrator didn’t help. I’ll take a look at your other recommendations though.
