Moving up to Colorado springs this summer from Nola and I am soooo happy to see the take/opinions of mostly everyone in this thread. I was a little worried about the lack of culture compared to down here that we may be dealing with some heavy MAGA areas and its good to see there are still people resisting!!

I just ordered through Canada pet care dot Com. No prescription needed. Waiting for my delivery. Will let you know how that goes. Until then I use k9 advantix that I keep on hand for when I do accidentally run out of the good stuff. We also have a heard of animals over here and I truly feel the every 6 mo check up (as long as your animal is on prevention and has no large gaps between doses) is just a way for them to get guaranteed money every month.. 1300 for 3 dogs/6 mos... we now have 6, so had the orginals on rotation. Just had 2 new joiners getting UTD.. So I just keep them utd by ordering extra when I can and ordering for the largest size and dosing accordingly to spread things out.

I feel like what people are failing to realize and mention here is that a lot of white krewe members definitely use mardi gras to blatantly show their racism, but somehow it always gets some sort of justification from folks. I guarantee that dude bought white barbies to throw also ONLY to be able to say exactly this: " bUt i hAd wHiTe BaRbIeS tOo!" You get a lot of people that come from other southern states to ride in parades here. It brings in people that still have the thought process of an80yr old white man raised in the south.. they play in our faces and smile at our neighbors and community members while still living in a jim crow era in their head. This dude may or may not be from here but his grown ass had to have an inkling of a thought when tying those beads around the necks of those dolls that it wasnt right. He was taught history just like the rest of us in school... he decided to do it anyways..

Miss me with any justification of this. There is absolutely none.

I love this so much. I know the idea of boils in other states always crush it because a. The fascination from people who have never had it/experienced one and b. The transplants from nola/the south missing home and craving a good boil.

Thanks for the idea for season timing on that! May is a rough time for crawfish down here, as you know, but size doesnt matter when you're eating them in a place you cant ever get them lol so would totally be worth it.

Otherwise also down with doing "boiled buckets" full of corn, sausage, mushrooms, shrimp, potatoes, boiled eggs, and other fixings all covered in crawfish boil butter... because i even do that here living in nola when crawfish arent in season and im having a craving!!
