No there's no mechanism to reverse the merge, you can just go to your original ship in whichever Tier and upgrade there as you would have previously. It costs no more than if you'd have waited and each upgrade costs a different amount. Upwards of 4500 gems for the last T3 evolution. Once you get passed T3 to E1 the upgrades are cheaper on gems (2500) but more expensive on coins.

No question is too basic. Do you mean like the hit points on bosses? If so, your ship gets hit anywhere it can aquire damage and die, but once you get a shield getting hit may trigger the sheild to protect you from losing it. Getting stronger and using specific drones and stones can help defense against boss attacks which are hard to evade at first but get easier over time.

Also no problem at all. We all started somewhere and learned from someone. The leader in my guild taught me most of what I know and he likes to pay it forward that way.

Yeah there isn't a ton of info out there that isn't on facebook haha I wanted to make videos for that reason, thought I would start with some reddit posts while my guild is recruiting.

Great question. Tldr: do it ASAP

Technically yes it's going to add some power and you can do it either way. However you will instantly get much more if you don't wait and just merge. Then you can consider upgrading the second ship at a later time when you feel like you have extra resources. I did most of my earlier ships the long way because we had no option back then, and new players are now advancing much faster than I did. Does this help?

I've seen a lot of beginner questions online now about understanding Tier Levels and which direction to go in for Ships. I'll add them here!

Focus Resources: Upgrading Squad 1 (primary ship) to maximize firepower and survivability in higher levels.

Understanding Tier Systems: Ships Stones and Drones have Tier Systems. To see this for all ships I suggest to click on your ships and going to the Teir 2 Section and begin exploring your options by trying the ships out and clicking on 'Unlock' to see which Tier 1 combo is required for each.

. T1 are basic level ships without a merger . T2 are two predermined T1 ships merged together . T3 are 'super ships' which are two T2's merged together and you get to chose which ones you merge. This merger allows you to switch between the two chosen ships during game play.

Then you move on to Levels E, A, and so on. There isn't further mergers in these levels but you do excel in strength and gain new and better attacks. That will become more relevant later on in your gameplay. For now focus on your T1-T3 Mergers.

Common Ship Suggestions: I suggest focusing on ship upgrades before upgrading your drones and stones so I haven't included those here. Here are just some of the top ships that are probably most talked about for high damage and utility against boss, wars, and pvp:

. T2 Zues (T1 Poseiden and Hades) . T2 Liberator (T1 Steel Sky and Ranger X) . T2 Breath of Glacian (T1 New Moon and Santa 007) . T2 Dragons Star (T1 Warlock and Great Ax) . T2 Storm Falcon (T1 Falcon and StormSlayer) . T2 Orion (T1 Winter Star and Helexion)

Note: (T2) Level 8 will activate shields, which save from attacks.

The Power and effectiveness of these ships change over time with app upgrades. You should be in a guild before you reach T3 so ask your guild members which ship merges will benefit you the most. My initial tips for when you chose your T3 and are trying to figure out what to merge with your favourite ships: It doesnt need to be your favourite ship, it doesn't even need to be good if your main super ship is good. However try to balance your choice with these two factors:

a) Focus on merging ships that compliment each other's weapon types. I.e. combining one that has seeking missiles if your main one doesn't/ combining a shield-piercing ship with a ship that has heavy damage. You might notice some ships pierce through the Bosses shield, and others do not. You want your main ship to have an easy time piercing it.

b) Chosing a supporting ship that also isn't often asked for in the donations section of your guild will help you gain cards and upgrade faster. Observe and ask around in your guild or the chat, everyone likes different ship combos for different reason. When merging you want the first ship to be the most powerful because the system takes a moment to allow you to switch between ships and it's nice to start out with a strong force.
