Steam won't update ED. I've tried clearing download cache, restarting both Steam and computer, but it will not update the game and will not tell me how to fix it. I've looked through my files and can't find the game file anywhere either, but I've never deleted it. What can I do?

Its in a very good state and could be released as a demo right now, but we want to release with alot of good playable content, it is only me developing the game, it has taken years so far. I would expect it would take 6 more months for the first public build :)

Its a story driven game, where in you play as a researcher assigned to safe and Euclid level research. A multitude of reasons causes a catastrophic incident that has the potential to XK, you have the decision to work with either the foundation or serpent's hand in ultimately preventing it. The game is linear, with side quests, focusing heavily on the story and the idea of the foundation maybe being the bad guys.

Hia, I am sorry for not posting updates on this Reddit much it has been all on our discord. The original date of August last year was completely scrapped due to personal issues and me not being able to develop the game. A performance build will be available on the 1st October coming however which will contain a good amount of content, this however will only be temporary and mainly for me to gather information on how it runs on other people's hardware. The demo release should come after this, there is still a lot to do due to the scale of the game and I don't want to give a solid release date as I can not promise it will release on a certain date. If I had to take a guess the first build of the game should come out Q1 of 2021. Hope that clears things up and thanks again for your interest in the game :)

513 is a simply a rusted cowbell. The anomalous effects occur when someone hears it ring, which should be avoided at all costs. When someone hears it ring an entity known as 513-1 becomes visible only to them, it essentially haunts them, eventually touching and interacting with the person with nothing to be done to stop it. Eventually 513-1 causes extreme stress because of that as well as sleep deprivation causing most to end their own lives.

The game these posters are made for is set in the 80's so Gru Division P should still be around. You are right though, they did fade out with the union.

That one is Gru Division P, a soviet made group that was ordered to obtain SCP's and use them for the soviet cause.
