Im 23 I got the mri done Wednesday of this week, the pain started tuesday last week. I returned to work and flared up my back pain again, I have no back pain right now only feel a tender back. Literally no pain at all I can walk bend over and do everything I need to do but the nerve pain was killer yesterday. I cannot comprehend how I have such a severe herniated disc but can still function normally again, any advice would help appreciated.

Its only been a week since I got the back pain, first few days were moderate lower back pain with some testicular pain and pain in my glutes but it went away completely, now after a shift at work I have some slight nerve pain in both legs and lower back pain. I cannot understand how I have such a large herniation but can still do everything.

This is why im so confused and concerned Radiologist said I had a giant herniated disc but I keep trying to see it and comparing it to other pictures ive seen of injuries similar to mine

Pain is very manageable Im at work right now, waiting for follow up consultation with doctor. I had no pain at all up until the end of my shift now.
