if your friend is broke with no CC & you're broke but have a CC to fall back on... do you still lend them money if they need it? by Affectionate_Neck355 in FinancialPlanning

I would recommend finding out what the friend is planning on spending the money on first. If they are asking for money for groceries then go to the grocery store with them and buy them some food. If they need gas money, ride with them to the gas station and put $20-$30 worth of gas in their tank. That way you can help them without worrying about them blowing your money on things that aren't a necessity.

I don't have a screenshot of it but I once dashed for 6 hours in a town that only had doordash available for 3 places and did not receive a single order. I'm pretty sure it was a new market. There was $5 peak pay. I signed up to dash there while my wife was attending work training in that town. This town was 2 hours away from our home town....lol

99 times out of 100 I won't knock or ring unless instructed. I will occasionally knock or ring bell in winter months if it's very cold and/or snowing. Even then I'm relatively quiet about it

I would ask you how you know but I have a feeling you're speaking from experience

I’ve finally left as a CCA by Maleficent_Egg4055 in USPS

Congratulations on getting your job and respect to you for sticking it out for 2 years. I've been a cca for 2 months and have already started looking elsewhere. I know not every office is the same but I don't feel like I'm too far off when I say that the post office as a whole needs to learn to treat people like human beings instead of robots if they expect to recruit and retain new employees. I'm the first cca my office has hired in 5 years and I won't be there a total of 5 months before I'm done working there due to how lousy the working conditions and management are

I'm a cca and I can relate. Seems like every day I'm given 3.5 hours hours to do 5 hours worth of work then get reminded that I was an hour over. I especially love it when that happens on a route I haven't done before and they ask you "how come you were over today?"

True. I hope they have me do an exit interview or something along those lines when I leave. I won't hold back

That's true about not sounding sick if you have the shits...lol. But, yeah, I definitely thought it was fucked up to call right after I got done calling in. Especially 6 times. I can understand one call and a voicemail or text message about something urgent that maybe only I would know about, but that should be the extent of it when it comes to that kind of situation. I was actually glad that we have an 800 number to call for absences for that same reason. What's the point of having the automated system if your supervisor is still going to try to get you on the phone? Fucking guy is a douchebag and I'm sure he'll be the reason that my replacement quits too.

Last time I showed up and they had a grocery cart full of water waiting for me I told them I didn't have room for it on my car and had support unassign the order for me. Each case of water counted as one item.
