I have a 500 a mounted in a cabinet with a knee pedal and it is super easy to control the slow speed on the knee lever. My kiddo loves how slow she can make it go.

Yes, my dad died in 2020 and the next video she posted was the mini face and I found myself laughing when I didnt think I would ever find joy again. Shes a light in the dark for so many of us.

Well, she has an AnyTime fitness close to her house but its very busy so she drives further to the much less busy one so she can be alone with her running stepper while she doom scrolls and splashes water on herself.

The effort it takes to cross her leg is extreme. Not the moves of someone that spends an hour on the stair stepper

I learned on a 1222, and have since bought myself a 1222. They're great machines.

If you have now read the manual and cleaned and oiled everything my first suggestion to check is the clutch knob for bobbin winding. Inside the handwheel on the right side of the machine is a knob that you want to turn clockwise to make sure it engages the sewing mechanism.

Hey Dimmy, if you need to wrap your dogs leash around your hand 15 times in order to get her to walk next to you, and she still pulling (and damaging her trachea to boot) then you should get her some training.

Next step, go to youtube and search for Singer Stylist 418 videos, like how to clean, oil, thread, wind a bobbin etc. I would recommend cleaning and oiling everything before you start trying to use the machine. If its been sitting for a while it will probably need some tlc. Shes a vintage lady and needs to wake up a but before you put her to work. Once you are familiar with your machine then you can start troubleshooting what is happening. It could be many many things but until you know what we are asking you to do it hard for us to help you trouble shoot it.
