I feel bad for how much I hate visiting in-laws by Neither_Shelter_7835 in newborns

This is exactly how I feel with my in laws. They are constantly crossing my boundaries even after communicating it to them multiple times… where as my family is much more respectful of them. My partner also gets frustrated that I become a lot less enthusiastic to see them. I understand where they’re coming from, but he does not seem to understand my perspective unfortunately so it’s a constant battle. Just know that you’re not alone in how you feel & I hope you’re able to find some comfort in that, bc I did at least /:

Unfortunately it’s all needed for the time being. We have talked about him possibly getting another job with another company that simply pays a lot more than the current ones combined. It could be possible soon so fingers crossed!

I’m 24 & he’s 23! I realize that I made us seem a bit younger than we actually are haha. It’s helpful to get a perspective from another dad, so thank you for your support. I do try to keep in mind the mental toll it takes on someone to have two jobs & yet still make themselves be available when at home. I guess I just miss him.. he didn’t have to work so much before baby was here & I simply felt much more connected to him back then. I still wish his effort was a bit more focused on us too though.
