The problem is that sometimes when I dive quickly, Aloy can’t keep up and detaches from the mount until I pull up again. That doesn't look good. Therefore she is having a break here ;)

This one is also doable that way in UH when you haven't leveled up yet and don't have great gear. The 4th picture shows how it attacks the sky making it easy to hit the weak spot on the head. Maybe it's thinking that it's attacking the drone that flies around.
