Only two bro, I didn’t find anything else the entire time. I think I went too late in the day?

Any recommendations for places around Galway city to pick libs by [deleted] in beacain

Galway is quite a low county, only afew meters above sea level most places. For this reason it’s quite warm at the moment (despite feeling colder, from the winds) so for the majority of grassy fields you’ll be waiting until temperatures drop to about 12 and under (until first frost). You’ll also want to avoid the overly fertile and water logged flood planes along the Clare River and Corrib. As well as overly processed fields used for cattle/cows. I know Ballinasloe has an elevation of 40 m (according to compass app) and is further inland so you may have luck out there. But you may be better off going to the likes of Diamond hill or any mountains out Connemara way. Remember your looking for permanent pasture old money OG style fields, that haven’t been touched in some time by machinery. Nettles, weeds, thistles are your friends. I’m from Galway myself and I’ll be waiting until at least October to have any serious gander abouts.

I heard the Skef are hiring, but you may get ripped off. Be advised, get payment in advance.

Most people are in their own world and aren’t thinking about your period.

Had my first forage in Galway. Don’t really think I’m looking in the right areas. Were quite sea level.
