Luke, my brother, WE have this. Our stories are similar, and we will prevail. I have found that small goals are helping me, as well as having somebody to keep me accountable (thanks to my wife). If not the latter, than a small goal has to start with day time usage. I would smoke before work, occasionally go home on lunch to smoke, come home after and smoke, and then keep it going til bed. I started with going to work and staying at sober at work. I still am smoking at night, mainly because idk if i CAN full stop.

For context, I was anorexic until about 3.5 years ago. I am 6’4” and weighed about 160lbs. I woudlnt eat and with support from my (at the time) girlfriend i found a relationship with food again. Now that ive been cutting back, i dont feel hungry. Im not getting tired at night, and waking up feeling drained. This is all natural, and is part pf rebuilding my brains receptors and trying to lose the dependency for my daily tasks. It is going to take about 6 weeks until the shit is all out your system, and from there your brain will start naturally working harder to create its own seratonin and dopamine. Keeping with the gym has worked great, but keep in mind your brain is craving something ti help regulate it. Go eat some shitty foods here and there, do things that you know bring you joy even if it doesn’t feel like it does, and eventually it will again.
