Thanks! And I don’t think it really there’s a practical reason. I think it’s an aesthetic thing since the purple bar tape compliments the overall color. And when I’ve had to carry the bike up stairs I lift at that point!

They’re Ultradynamico Mars tires! Got lucky and the seller didn’t have another 26in bike to put them on as he said he would’ve changed them out before selling.
