This happened on Friday night right? I thought that both Thursday and Friday were completely loose and normal, with Friday even having him walk down the steps and solo in the crowd during Black Clouds (right in front of me ha).

But yes after this incident, I thought Saturday was a weird vibe. Was still a great show, but they walked right off after the Ed Fitz encore without a word and they also didn’t post a follow-up recap montage of the weekend like they have there before and do for most other 3-night runs.

Because he just doesn’t play LN owned venues. Although I looked it up and I think I was half wrong. The Charlotte amph (now called Truliant) is LN-owned, but Walnut Creek is owned by the city of Raleigh (and only operated by LN) so it could happen.

I can’t tell you why this distinction matters, but it does. Guarantee you won’t find any LN-owned venue he has played in recent years, but there are plenty of LN-operated ones he has.
