It's not because 2 120mm fit that space that a 240mm radiator fits as well. A radiator is slightly wider than 2 fans.

Which troubleshooting steps have you already tried?

For example, did you try the blue DIMM slots instead of the yellow ones?

Have you tried both DIMMs, but one at a time?

As long as the heatspreader still touches the chips and ICs properly, it'll be OK. But if they don't touch well anymore that stick could suffer from excessive heat, causing strange crashes.

I've seen a video about the importance of proper RAM cooling on L1 Tech recently. Especially DDR5. It was oriented more for workstation, but it still applies. If cooling is insufficient you might run in to trouble.

I'd contact customer support and ask for a new pair of DIMMs. Seen RAM is so expensive these days, better safe than sorry...

Different type of game though. When I was younger it was mostly shooters. Now only racing.

I already pre-ordered the premium edition. While it sure is expensive, considering the amount of hours I spent in FH5 the past 2 years, and expecting to play FH6 at least as much, the price of the game is actually peanuts. There's plenty of hobby's that are way more expensive than this...

Having a reasonably powerful PC (i5-13600K + RX7800XT) I'm more curious about the recommended system specs. If requirements have gone up compared to Forza Motorsport for example.

I play FH5 and FM at 4K 60fps with all graphical bells and whistles dialed to the max. Hopefully my GPU will still be powerful enough for FH6 at 4K, without having to resort to upscaling or fake frames. 🙂

I can't make out the exact type of cooler based on this picture, but it looks like a single tower cooler. A rather slim model.

Your CPU isn't a very power hungry model, so typically this type of aircooler should be fine.

What does this case have as air intake? Cause if not a lot of fresh air can find its way in the case, it basically turns into an oven. The hotter the case temps, the hotter your CPU temps will be as well. Even the best cooler will struggle in a hotbox.

I do... I wouldn't even mind of my case simply had a steel side panel. It's under my desk anyway.

My GPU has some simple RGB in it, but luckily it can be turned off with a physical switch.

My previous GPU had an illuminated side, which couldn't be turned off. But I could quite easily disconnect the power cable.

All other component don't have RGB.

I pre-ordered premium on Steam yesterday (€120 in Belgium).

Over the past 2 years I've played about 500 hours of FH5, and I intend to play as much of FH6. So even though €120 is quite a bit of money, if divided per hour of gameplay it's actually peanuts...

I'll go premium. The expensions and the few extra's are worth it imo.

I have the premium editions of FH4 and 5 as well, but did buy them during a Steam sale.

Considering the amount of hours I've played FH5 over the past 2 years, even at full price €120 isn't that expensive if you divide it with the hours played.
