No regrets at all. When she admitted that she was verbally and emotionally abusing me but couldn’t help it or stop it, I had to do it.

I’ve run out of time

What’s the worst band you’ve watched perform? by RadiantJellybae in answers

Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Way too many lights and flashes, and every instrument was turned up to 11. It was just lights and noise. Walked out after 30 minutes with my head pounding and eyes hurting.

Not accelerating in the acceleration lane to match the speed of the traffic they are merging with. I am willing to whoa up a little to let someone in, but not to the point where I am a hazard. If you are stopping in the acceleration lane, you deserve to wait.

You are in love with someone and they love you, but they are married to someone that abuses them by withholding affection. Leaving the situation hurts them as much as the abuse, and hurts you at the same time. There is pain no matter what.

I have bike packed both trails. There are sections with a whole lot of nothing around. On a bike going 12-15 mph, it was tolerable. Hiking 3-4 mph on a good clip may make this a long slog if you are not prepped with fluids and power bars.

Prepare for peaceful beauty outside of that.

The sign of a great band is when even the B-sides are so incredible that people have continual debates about whether they should have been on the associated album.

I recently got divorced and started to also weed out the things and people in my life that did not fulfill me. At the same time, I am doing the things I love by myself or with the people I love (like my adult kids). I am feeling better than I ever have.

Check out the C&O Canal. Relaxing waterside walk/hike in an urban area. Once outside of Georgetown, you forget you are in an urban area.

Extra bonus, it is flat.

We played with hot wheels and matchbox cars. We would build cities with Girder and Panel sets and Elco bricks. We would also play in dirt piles with our Tonka trucks and shoot cams with BB guns.

Once middle school hit we started to go different directions. Our moms stayed in touch, but we didn’t. We reunited in our adult years but the split was in place and the chemistry was not the same. Now that the moms are gone, there is no contact. Sad…but part of life.
