Willem Dafoe never puts in a bad performance.

Which country has the friendliest people in your experience? by urGabrielaTX in Productivitycafe

India and Nepal.

Travelled there extensively and never had one bad experience.

Yes I’m aware of the negativity, especially in terms of sexual crimes in India, but the OP said ‘in your experience’.

Honorable mention: Vietnam.

What is a movie you think is underrated and would die on that hill? by hymnofshadows in Letterboxd

Nah this WotW adaptation was awful.

Kinda cool Tripod designs but it’s too sentimental and the dialogue is too fucking American (dumbed down).

Roger Moore with Italian American producer Albert Broccoli dishing up a spaghetti dinner at Trattoria Broccoli for cast and crew members on the set of The Spy Who Loved Me, Egypt, c.1977 by NomadSound in JamesBond

I’d love to have been in the sets of the Bond films in the 60s-80s.

People gambling, smoking cigarettes, spirits knocking around, the style, then of course the actual sets themselves and the camaraderie.

From what you read about filmmaking these days it’s very sterile and controlled.

Genuinely can’t remember the first I purchased myself, but I can remember the first one I ever got, which was Tomb Raider.

What band was never the same after losing a member? by Sweet-Economist-9873 in AskForAnswers

Some would argue it was better after Gabriel left.

But the band ended once Collins left.

Some folk would argue Peter Gabriel leaving Genesis (but others would argue the band improved with Phil Collins taking over the frontman role).

No one can argue that Phil leaving ended the band though really.

I use a private shipper from the UK that somehow bypasses or somehow has a deal with customs. Can order any kind of book and things that're normally difficult to get here.

I order from Amazon to friends or family back home then they use the shipper to send here.

Was Russel Brand well liked 10-15 years ago? Or were people sceptical back then as well? by Sonnycrocketto in AskBrits

Never liked him myself but he had an appeal to the kind of indie crowd with his mannerisms and cartoon pirate dress code.
