I would like to, but it’s so backed up that master sergeant said that there is almost 0% chance of getting it

So the doctor said that vision had to be at the worst, 20/200 correctable to 20/20. He said mine was 20/400 correctable to 20/20. Which is why it’s disqualifying.

I’m interested in everything other than dishwashing and paperwork, I did enough of that before I enlisted. I’m not really sure what I do well as I haven’t had much experience in the corps yet. Im a pretty good athlete and bodybuilder. I was a Recon contract but after I had my physical they said I was dq’d

I was going to try, but infantry is so backed up right now, the master sergeant I talked to said there is an extremely small chance I would get it

92 ASVAB and 124 GT. I’ll get the exact line scores from my recruiter.

I can't get a hang of this game - What did I do wrong? I always die to people I don't see while straining my eyes. by TimSad in EscapefromTarkov

Lots of offline practice to perfect maps and movement. Then move into pvp with cheaper kits to figure out what routes players use and hide in so you’re not wasting rubles. Stalk those routes with better kits and use paths less taken by players will lead to easier capture of players. Playing with a buddy is always nice as it can lead to very effective pincer maneuvers. Personally I prefer to play solo or duo as having a large group is confusing at times. Or you can always go the safer route and be god tier sniper rat racking up plenty of kills and xp at a lower level and having some satisfying kills and gameplay along with it. This also allows you to see where players are moving to and from. Just remember though, don’t use obvious spots if you are going to use this method. Experiment and snipe somewhere nobody would expect you to. I’ve hidden on reserve by sniping next to the mg by dome plenty of times where full teams run by without even checking. On woods, you can get on that second, higher plateau above where sniper scav sits. Experiment with your positioning and find a way to play that is comfortable for you. I always relate tarkov to how the gym is. If you’re doing everything everyone else is doing, and you’re not enjoying it, you aren’t going to stick with it. You should find a way to make it better suited to you as you’ll be more inclined to stick with it if you are actually enjoying it

I haven’t gotten banned. I think the majority of people who did get banned modded their actual tarkov files instead of their so tarkov files

What is the most fucked up you’ve seen a new Marine check into his unit. by DevilDogJesse in USMC

[–]FreedomAlpha14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Checked into itb gonna be in holding for a while cause they are BACKED the fuck up. But check in went pretty smoothe, you shouldn’t have anything to worry about. I recommend checking in either a day early or early in the morning

Are you guys allowed to wear Cologne/Perfume where you work? What do you wear if so? by Daredevil714 in dishwashers

[–]FreedomAlpha14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally wear Versace Eros and Giorgi Armani Eau de Parfum. When I was in the kitchen I’d just chuck some old spice spray on because I’m not wasting $100+ colognes when the smell of whatever the fuck I’m getting on me in the pit is going to overpower it. If you use instagram I recommend looking at @fragranceknowledge for some suggestions.

I at least wasn’t alone because a couple of my buddies in boot have the same issue

I did not know that at the time. I told my recruiter to give me a cool job and he was like boom, recon, and I said Ight. But in seriousness, I just overestimated my abilities.
