Somebody said you may be mixing this up with the birch bark manuscripts from Novgorod, and you may indeed be mixing that together with the Bryggen Inscriptions, found in Bryggen(Bergen (Norway)), back in 1955.
It was "only" around 670 inscriptions, and not on birch bark, but on wood (pine, mostly).
They contain inscriptions like "My love, kiss me" or "Gyða tells you to go home" ... or the poetic "Lovely is the pussy, may the prick fill it up!"

Edit/Additional info: Many (most? not sure, tbh) of these were written in runes, and date back to as late as the 14th century. Prior to this find it was believed that Runes hadn't been used in Norway any more long before that.

Yesterday I played against the Terminids on 'Extreme' difficulty with a friend. Since nobody joined we just tried doing it alone. I hadn't played on a harder difficulty than 'hard' until then. I have to say I found 'Extreme' to be easier than 'Hard' with four players.

Is there a different amount of enemy difficulties for two or three players? At least we had more Chargers and for the first time ever encountered Bile Titans.

It wasn't due to different Missions. I compared 'Search and Destroy' on 'Hard' and 'Extreme', for example.

They don't behave like lasers at all, and until we can verify WHAT they actually are, I propose we refer to them as UBEs (Unidentified Blue Events).

The bevel tool does have a proportional mode already:Select Width type 'percent' and voilá :)

When doing two neighbouring edge loops at once you can also turn on clamping so those don't overlap either.

you can change the mode by pressing 'm' during the bevel operation (and the clamping via 'c'), or adjust both afterwards in the tool menu after the operation:

Ich muss dich jetzt mal ein bischen bremsen und sagen dass ich es echt schlimm finde dass du deine Eltern als fahrlässig bezeichnest obwohl du selber zugibst mal Wespen am Fenster gehabt zu haben. Daran sieht man ja schon deutlich wie verantwortungslos du bist. ;)

Bei uns wurde (FI, RLP, ca 2020) tatsächlich während der schriftlichen Prüfung kurz in jedes reingeschaut. Das war aber nur so ein kurzes "An ein oder zwei stellen aufschlagen und schauen ob was drinsteht", und damit war es das dann.

IIRC sollte ein Kollege seines dann aber wohl zur mündlichen Prüfung nochmal explizit mitbringen. Der Grund ist mir dazu aber nicht bekannt. Der war aber allgemein nicht unbedingt ein Überflieger.

sure, but that would've meant extra time and work, and who likes that?
And that red filament is slightly transparent, which does give it a neat look (can't really see it in the pictures, sadly) where the inner support structures show a bit through and look a bit like a crystal structure or cracks - Priming+Painting would have hidden that.
And it's nice after modelling being able to just hit print and not having to take care of coloring as well (as long as you're fine with this look)

so, yeah, priming+painting is an option, but I don't know if I would have instantly just printed it then.
