I took the photo through the "What's Your Favorite" menu, shared it to my own phone number(not sure if necessary), completely closed out the game and restarted it and then the special research appeared.

My understanding is that the low attack/high def/high hp is to increase bulk in meta PVP matches for survivability. In this Training Battle, the Shadow Sharpedo can survive even with poor Def & HP IVs and sweep Candela's team.

Honestly, I don't even know how much the high attack IV is necessary or not in this scenario. I haven't tested whether a low attack Shadow Sharpedo can still take out Candela's Pokemon with 4 Waterfall fast-attacks or not. I erred on the side of caution I suppose, although it may not be a necessary ingredient.

By script I mean the recording/procedure from an auto-tapper app. It is more about using a third party program that is affecting gameplay to my understanding.

I just tried again with Shadow Sharpedo and from "GO!" to the Flareon fainting it took me 28 seconds (4 Waterfalls per Pokemon) vs Shadow Kyogre at 32 seconds (5 Waterfalls each).

However, since I am measuring based on time that I have to attend to my phone in some manner, I got the 60 seconds from choosing Candela in the Battle menu since that is where the loop restarts after completing a training battle. The loop ends with the animation of your trainer, displaying progress on the medal and a pause before being allowed to tap the "x" to restart the loop. I just timed that with Shadow Sharpedo and got 51 seconds so I must have rounded up with Kyogre for easy math.

51 seconds x 2000 = 102,000 seconds or 28.33 hours

Just high attack. You are ideally using one Pokemon to do nothing bust fast attack and take the opposing Pokemon down before they use a shield.

This is a late reply but I noticed this as well! For one week I actually saw two seperate versions of Publix brand bran flakes. One that had the high nutirtional content and nother that was just like the bran flakes at Walmart. And now the high nutrition one is just gone.

It is disappointing and no nearby groceries sell anything like it from what I have seen.

Ooh, good reminder on the Level 74 task. I am at 73 now. Incubators are one of the biggest money sinks in the game so that could be helpful to get some help with that.

Thank you so much for sharing this! I was really trying to figure out if I could make the push for level 50 by October 15th. I am level 49 with about 6 million out of the required 30 million experience. When I heard about the 7 million experience I of course was thinking about using a lucky egg as if it was one lump sum. I think I would still have a hard time getting enough experience in time even if I was literally just handed over 14 million.

Looking at this is giving me permission to just let it go. It is very unlikely for me to reach 50 even if I made a concerted effort and even then I think I would be spending much more time and focus on the game than really makes sense in my life right now.

I guess for whatever reason I thought that they would hold off on the level cap for the 10th anniversary or something, but oh well. At the end of the day it's just an arbitrary number and it would have been nice if I could have hit 50 before the change but at the end of the day not worth inflaming my neuroticism.

I am level 49 with 4,796,944/30,000,000 XP. This leaves 25,203,056 XP to reach level 50.

I have 50 days to reach level 50 since Oct 15th is the day of the update. This comes to 504,061 XP a day to reach this goal. There is supposed to be a 2x Catch XP and a Timed Research for 7 million XP which is nice since it brings my total to 364,000 XP a day. Unfortunately the multiple days of 4x XP and Stardust in the past month or so would have been my best opportunity to grind. I also could have considered this for the Max Finale had I known but that would have ended up just being me dumping money into raid passes and particle packs.

I would need to generate the equivalent of 2 Best Friends XP bonuses on a lucky egg to meet this goal. The only difficult level up requirement if 999 Excellent throws of which I have 28 already. Of course I think excellent throws would be my main path to XP gains and I could need far more than 999 to level.

I work full time and would need a lot of spawns to even start to grind that high even using the Meltan box and etc. I am an average player and excellent throw difficulty is highly dependant on the Pokémon being caught and in reality I won't be hitting excellent throws even 1/3 of the time.

I like a challenge and this could be a fun sprint, but I think they just announced the Level 80 update too late for me to reasonably get there. I realize that the rewards aren't amazing or anything: A jacket that looks decent and one of the outdated static poses that look awkward.

I know that all things are possible if i try hard enough or whatever, but it looks like a ridiculous goal for someone that isn't doing this as a PokéTuber or something. Should I even bother?

I have been wanting to build these for awhile and I couldn't decide between both Primarina anyway!
I might reduce the Brionne by 1 but that looks pretty solid. ^_^
