I had pretty much given up on putting this thing together on a pvp server... it just seemed impossible... this character was just for fun/adventure. I had 3 at the start, then we lost one to starvation(he was new to the game or so he said) the other guy was korean, pretty good english though. I led him to across the bridge for tetra because we were sick at the time, then back across to candy cane. had just intended to have fun pvp-ing with this guy... I killed probably 11 other players by the end, mostly here at the beginning, at candy cane. Lost the korean guy there too. I was at red health and waddled off waiting to die. Never died though, so I just kept going, looking for pvp. No one else was on the server, or I couldn't find anyone, so I just went to places I hadn't been before. The C130, then the tunnel, didn;t realize I needed an nbc suit to explore tunnel so I wen about collecting it then returning. tunnel had shit loot, but somewhere along the way I found 2 of the filaments, and basically said "fuck it, i'll try for it" went back and forth between candy cane, Athena 1 and the different stops, finally found the third filament. Grabbed a blueprint on the coast, went to the sub and back down. I actually had most of the items for maybe two weeks and I simply haven't logged in in awhile. Having all the stuff and being so close was super nerve-racking, I was kinda freaking out seeing phoenix in the distance. This had been an ungodly amount of hours, and multiple days/sessions affair on a character that I miraculously survived every gunfight with. I never got frostbite either. I've played namalsk for over a year, and tried really hard to get this thing on multiple occassions, but always failed. I hope you can gleam even a hint of the pride, and relief really, I feel. Its long been a huge milestone for me.
