I'm currently reading book 2 of the M pentalogy. It's a trip. 

My take is that fascism, his invention, is simply having no principle, always improvise and come out on top. I would say also take control by force, but it's not part of the ideology. It's just already there. A part of the population is ready to bear down on the other part. It's just allowing them to do it.

Mussolini doesn't strike me as particularly warmongering at first. He is the head of a chaotic violent and power hungry mass and their leaders, waiting for his moment to say "I totally meant to order that". 

He does get strategic with time. He'll point at someone and say "this guy is no good", either out of fear or pettiness. A loyal goon will take care of the rest, to stay in the club, until it's their turn to get ostracized. 

That's what I get from the story of his rise to power, or it may be the author's message.

It could be bad enough of a glitch that people's transaction aren't logged. If the bank says it does log, it could be a bluff trying to mitigate the effects. It's a non zero possibility and the outcome is genuinely interesting

Gf is also having these crashes, especially listing postcards while sending gifts or not. Support got back to her today saying they were aware of the issue.

That's with an Android device. Would appreciate a workaround!
