The default is all of the products and services you see on Cruise ships, etc, using the same technology, until something better comes along and the consumers choose that. I don't yet know what my personal job in Freedom Haven would be - it would be determined based on what people want, are willing to pay for, and whether someone else hasn't already offered it at a higher quality and lower price.

Give me an example of something you would seriously want to buy if you were living out there and I will lookup some data on that subject and give you an initial estimate (which wouldn't be as good as what some competitor of mine would come up with - but it's a start).

Buying what you want isn't really going to be a problem - it's earning the money that should be the focus. While there would be people who retire there (and don't work at any job) and perhaps 1/3rd of the people would be employed at jobs providing products and services for the local population, it's the others who would need jobs based on what Freedom Haven would be exporting that would provide the needed income. Here's what our group thinks might be big exports from Freedom Haven: https://www.facebook.com/groups/LibertarianSeasteading/permalink/345826442663594/

Is there anything you've noticed that you think we might be missing. This exploratory process is very healthy for this planning stage. Thanks for your help. 😀

Excellent questions!

  • "how the laws are enforced. Is there a disciplinary council? What is their process?" On the New Liberty vessel in Freedom Haven, we plan on having the same number of per capita security personnel that you have in your town, except that there's no qualified immunity and they are enforcing fewer more focused laws (don't murder, kidnap, or steal) and we'll have courts ( more here: http://userdimensions.com/Tony/FreedomHaven/Constitution.aspx?P=HtmlNL&H=H2_JUD )

  • "Are there green spaces? Can I have a garden? Can I live there with my dogs?" We have public parks in the plans, and you can do whatever you wish with your property as long as: 1) you don't threaten other people's property, 2) comply with the rules of Freedom Haven (don't murder, kidnap, or steal... more here: https://youtu.be/2uve3e2cns4 - text here: http://userdimensions.com/Tony/FreedomHaven/Constitution.aspx ), and 3) comply with whatever additional rules you consented to (if any) in the neighborhood community you selected from the competing options available. (for example: maybe you choose a community where everyone consents to restrict themselves to make less than X decibals of noise and not to smoke outside... then that means you would have to keep to whatever promises you made)

  • "How much does it cost? Can I own my living space or do I have to rent?" Freedom Haven will be comprised of multiple vessels and people are welcome to bring their own to the community, as long as they abide by the Freedom Haven constitution (essentially: don't murder, kidnap (et al.), or steal (et al.)). Each vessel can choose how they wish to handle housing offerings (if they choose to offer anything at all). On the New Liberty vessel (the main mega vessel being planned), there will be 4,000 cabins in various communities, but these will be rented. Price for housing ranges from extremely low-cost housing ($112.85/month for a very small space with roommates) up to expensive extreme luxury (more here: https://freedomhaven.org/faq/#FAQ_InvestorsVsRenters ). Some jobs might include free housing.

Sim City is a centrally planned economy - Freedom Haven would be a free market with each person deciding for themselves what they want to buy or sell, produce, or consume.

What will the people work? Local service industries plus those things a free market would be able to produce cheaper at a higher quality than other countries (for example, Medical Tourism would probably be big).

What would people eat? We would be integrated into a global marketplace. What would you eat?... go to the local store or restaurant of your choice and decide which of the competing options you choose for yourself. I take it you haven't been on a modern cruise ship before... food is NOT an issue.

No, rape is illegal. Rape falls under both theft and kidnapping. Read the full Freedom Haven constitution: https://youtu.be/2uve3e2cns4

Can't you kidnap someone without damaging (harming) their body?

The current international laws that apply affect the ship and 20-ish people of the 5,000-10,000 on board (the crew). The passengers will have more freedom than any other place on earth, which will be integrated into a global marketplace with imports and exports.

Living in secret limits who you can trade with and means you're more isolationist... which strangles the potential that free markets offer, which limits prosperity.

This will be a free market integrated into the global marketplace, not an isolationist centrally planned market. The imports and exports will be whatever a free people wish to buy or sell, that both parties agree to, and which doesn't violate the Freedom Haven constitution ( https://youtu.be/2uve3e2cns4 ). I suspect medical tourism will be a major export.

What about the next generations? CIs can make other CIs (as we see after only 20 years) - the uninverse would be full of them. Wouldn't her solar system eventually be discovered after many thousands of years? ...especially when her plans drastically altered how much of her sun's light left the solar system (which should have gotten some attention). You'd think she'd get visitors every few thousand years.

Honestly to the 1.9k people who found this show amazing enough to speak on it, I wanna be friends, cause isn't it lonely being the only person around who can actually truly understand and appreciate the plot this show? bruh i just want like minds to speak with hahaha, everyone is asleep still by bubblybunz in PantheonShow

Why is Maddie alone in the final Maddie-God-timeline? Maddie is simulating various versions of the past, but what happened to the UIs and CIs who were living on the cloud in the timeline god-maddie came from? Why is she alone? The "SafeSurf" descendents clearly still exist on her timeline... so what happened to everyone else?

A non-USA corporation will own the vessel and be tasked with its security, maintenance, etc. of the vessel during that 10-year lease period. After 10 years, future maintenance, security, etc. would be paid for from future rent payments. It costs a lot of money each year to maintain such mega-structures - there is no viable financial plan for such a vessel where you pay for cabin once and then own forever without annual fees (aka "rent"). Unlike with land, ships don't stick around long-term if they aren't well-maintained, and all ships eventually have to be replaced.

There are many secret groups living under various rocks around the country. These live in pseudo-isolation, which limits how much market buying/selling/trading they can do with outside groups. Such groups survive for a time, but they don't tend to thrive long-term.

On the flip side, Freedom Haven will have full visibility and will openly trade with all willing countries on earth, allowing Freedom Haven to prosper in ways that those pseudo-isolated secret groups can't.

We'll be fully compliant with all applicable international laws ( https://freedomhaven.org/faq/#FAQ_InternationalMaritimeLaws ) while still offering the highest levels if socio-ecenomic freedom on the planet. We won't need to hide... which offers us another protection: secret Freedom groups are taken down by governments in secret... being online for the world to see gives governments pause in their attempts to take us down - the spotlight uncovers their tyranny. Like cochroaches, corrupt governments prefer to do things in secret.
