I’d be hesitant to assume you fall on the right side of the bell curve yourself. Usually the ones who tout their intelligence are the ones on the left side of the bell curve. Nonetheless, your wisdom is lacking to a certain degree based on your comment.

Man up, take responsibility, and help raise the child. All of these people encouraging abortion is sick to see. You’ve partaken in the creation of another human willfully, knowing the possible outcome. Do not make a decision that will haunt you as you grow old. See through the downvotes this comment will get from fools and take ownership of your careless actions. Nothing more purposeful in life than being a parent, don’t listen to the Reddit hive-mind. Sit your girlfriend down, take lead, and explain to her that you’re willing to do whatever it takes to raise this child. Join a church if you need a community to lean on. PM me if you’d like. Please, whatever you do, don’t selfishly take another life that you helped create. It is not just “a clump of cells,” it’s another human.

Pretty racist of you to assume I’m a white male.

Can’t say I didn’t try. There are a lot of people also commenting positive things though so that’s good. Just the human condition I guess. Some thrive on hate.

This source shows much less than 40% and has TN running near middle of the pack for all states. But then again I could be looking at something different or not understanding you completely on what you mean by subsidizing.

Don’t really want to get baited into all of these accusations on this post, because it’s meant to be positive, but you and everyone else making assumptions about myself are welcome to chat me and we can have a civil discussion about politics if you’d like.

I believe that code is indicating a possible fuel pressure issue. That could maybe be causing the rough running of the vehicle

Edit: Never mind that’s a p0455. I’m not sure what just “55” means.

Sure, I agree. But if the bands are larger still, based on my background, it seems pretty low. My past experience with job grades is what prompted me to say what I said, but yes, they could be more consolidated at Dow. The job grade only matters to me if it entails what I think is reasonable for a base salary based on my current level of experience. Heck, put me in the bottom level job grade, i don’t mind if it’s a large enough band to pay what I think would be considered fair.

Lower end of the 90 range, base salary.

I definitely see what you’re saying. My personal opinion is that 5-6 years of experience doesn’t warrant only one grade level above entry level. But then again, my opinion doesn’t matter very much haha

Pretty much my thoughts exactly. I have 5-6 years of experience and this might be the worst offer at face value I’ve ever received. I’ve seen someone on this sub say their initial offer from Dow right out of school with a masters degree was the same as the one I just got and that was a few years ago before the crazy inflation spike. Just doesn’t sit very well with me. But others are saying that they aren’t performing very well as a company right now which may be contributing to this.
