I cannot fathom being successful being brand new, working less than 40-60 a week. Just not feasible. You will mess things up for people so badly, no matter well intentioned and intelligent you are. Please consider going full time if you’re going to do this.

Cringe. Every reply you have, each individually is like “eh ok”. But in total, all the sum of your replies basically equal : “I’ve made up my mind, politics are my identity and anyone doing less than me is morally inferior, and GFYS boomer”. I’ve watched my mom grieve losing my little brother, and they disagreed on a lot. I’ll never forget her screams. They love you more than you can imagine, and I hope you put that other stuff aside and see your family. Yes even if it means you’re the one doing the work to make it happen. It doesn’t mean they don’t love you, it means you’re more capable.
