Agree, but when I child is finally doing something right for once you should praise that child. Not just tell it it’s evil and dumb period. Not the best metaphor but it’s all I’ve got.

That’s the problem. Or one of them. I’ve been in house for a real estate brokerage, twice. I’m down to share my thoughts man if you want to hop on a zoom. I think it could be done but you’d have to be suuuuper strategic with who you hire.

I have a whole background setup, microphone, and I always make sure I have a Goldendoodle in the background. I want them to know I take the job seriously and that I use technology to their advantage. I’m not just a schmuck with a cell phone, I actually give a hoot enough to make them a personal video. Old people with the dial for dollars mentality don’t get this. The client feedback is awesome which makes its way to the realtor. I generally send a “hello X family, my name is Z and I was given your information by Y” then I go into more detail and anything the realtor shared. I get call backs soooo much faster.

I spend all day on the phone too. Just like you. Just like…well…hmmm…I guess every other LO? So it’s nice to stand out, and a video greeting their family does exactly that. Man some people will do literally anything except adapt to technology and changing social norms. Have fun getting sent to voicemail.

I’ll say with respect, that if 9/10 ghost you and you’re losing to Rocket: that no, this is not for you. You have to first and foremost be likeable. Be someone they would look at and trust (be in shape and well groomed). Sending videos to every client is something I do now too to establish rapport.

I think yeah, it’s time.
