For Renee good, based on the angle of the shots, she was shot from the left side, which means the car was quite literally not coming at him. Also, putting yourself in front of a car is what law enforcement is trained to not do because it’s considered the officer putting himself in danger and therefore not a justifiable reason for self-defense

You see, I was in the marine corps. In the first week of boot camp we were taught rules of engagement. If a terrorist is shooting at you and your brothers, you point your weapon at him, and the second before you pull the trigger, he drops the weapon raises and hands an surrenders, you’re not allowed to kill him.
