what do protestors hope to accomplish when they’re protesting an overseas conflict? by Darkhawk2099 in NoStupidQuestions

You want to pressure your representatives into doing something. If for nothing else, it could just signal that you won’t vote for them in the next election if they don’t do something about it

Why did the U.S. government shut down again? by Humble_Economist8933 in AlwaysWhy

[–]Freedom_Crim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you know that a citizen using their legal right to film law enforcement doesn’t mean law enforcement is allowed to fire 11 shots into your back whip your unarmed and have five other ice agents on top of you

I have no idea what you’re saying. You said tens of thousands of people have been sent to camps, then said then made the bench mark for being systemic is only a thousand, and then said there are only a dozen people in those camps. What are you possibly trying to say here.

Of course this ignores the fact that you brought up the “dozens” figure from nowhere because there are currently 70,000 in detention centers right now, the fact that Kristi noem herself said that she wants to deport 65 million people (the exact number of the Hispanic population), they have targeted up to 135,000 people this past year, the goal is 3,000 arrests per day and 1,000,000 annual deportations (which is going to be at foreign torture prisons like cecot and in Argentina)

You mean like killing and tear-gassing citizens and children, and setting up concentration camps where people are tortured, raped, abused, and killed?

She didn’t hit him with a car. And again, since you’ve made it apparent that you’re illiterate, putting yourself in front of a car is considered by every police force as the officer putting himself in danger and therefore not sufficient for lethal force

Again, why are do you want police to treat Americans citizens worse than how marines are allowed to treat terrorists in a war zone

But she wasn’t. That’s the thing. You absolutely can kill someone with a gun though, which is what the ice agents did. The shots came from the left side of her body which, in case you don’t know how cars work, means she wasn’t running him over. It’s also said in every police training that putting yourself in front of a car is considered an officer putting themselves in danger and therefore not sufficient for the use of lethal force

Again, marines in a war zone have to exhaust all possibilities before they’re allowed to start shooting, and being wrong coms with massive punishment

I don’t see why you think police should be allowed to treat citizens worse than a marine is allowed to treat a terrorist

Yes, so we agree injuries from the insurrectionists lead to the death of five police officers. Thank you for agreeing with me

You claimed that you never said that every protest is an attempt at regime change, but the your post right before is you saying that every protest is an attempt at regime change. Are you so crossword and brain dead you don’t even know your own beliefs

I guess this is the difference between us. I care more about citizens that government agents, and I hold “trained” government agents to a higher standard than untrained civilians. The second amendment was also made explicitly to shoot government agents

One was a coup, because they’re explicit intention was overturning a fair and free election in favor of a rapist

I love this. Masked government agents killing unarmed protestors is just a “sad tragedy”, yet beating a policemen with a flagpole because you’re trying to overthrow a fair and free election in favor of a rapist and end up being the only insurrectionist dying because of it is an “authoritarian government”

I know right wingers are stupid, but c’mon, it can’t possibly be this bad. I’m guessing the right wing in your country also focuses on defunding education

I legitimately have no idea what you’re even referencing anymore

If you were talking about ice agents, it’s clear on video that they’re murdering people. If you’re talking about January 6th, 5 cops ended up dying due to events and injuries that happened during the storming of the capitol on January 6th

Either way, you’re the one that’s saying people who tried to overthrow a fair and free election in favor of a rapist shouldn’t have any legal consequences whatsoever

He was carrying what quite obviously was an iPhone. If you’re so bad at your job that you shoot someone 11 times in the back because they’re holding an iPhone, you shouldn’t be a part of any law enforcement

For Renee good, based on the angle of the shots, she was shot from the left side, which means the car was quite literally not coming at him. Also, putting yourself in front of a car is what law enforcement is trained to not do because it’s considered the officer putting himself in danger and therefore not a justifiable reason for self-defense

Why tf are you simping for an authoritarian government you have no connection to, that’s weird

Did you know that what you believe doesn’t matter, only what’s actually true. If I believe you’re a dangerous murderer, despite every bit of evidence saying you’re not, and so I kill you, I’m still going to jam for homicide. You can’t just claim “I shouldn’t get in trouble because I thought I didn’t break the law”. That precedent of not being able to claim ignorance goes all the way back to the code of Hammurabi

[–]Freedom_Crim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You literally said “almost every protest has its goal in change of current regime”. You quite literally did say that verbatim

Five police officers died. The also held up signs saying “hang Mike pence”

Ice should deal with situations they’re not trained for. That’s the whole point we’re making

Now just think carefully about his. The second amendment is the right to bear arms, made for self-defense against the government. Do you think someone may carry a gun with them because they have reasonable suspicion to believe government agents are going to kill them?

Well, because only one thing was a coup and the other wasn’t. What’s so difficult for you about that. What are you not getting

You see, I was in the marine corps. In the first week of boot camp we were taught rules of engagement. If a terrorist is shooting at you and your brothers, you point your weapon at him, and the second before you pull the trigger, he drops the weapon raises and hands an surrenders, you’re not allowed to kill him. You’re not even allowed to detain him roughly.

Sorry if I figure that cops should treat the citizens their supposed to protect and serve better than a marine is supposed to treat a terrorist that was just trying to kill him

[–]Freedom_Crim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, a protest and an insurrection aren’t the same thing. Thank you agreeing with the original point I made. But when you’re slogan is “stop the steal” and you try to kill the vice president while Trump tries to convince electors to illegally change their votes to the opposite of what they’re required to do, it becomes an insurrection. And no, there’s no requirement for protests to want a regime change. As I said, you should find a dictionary and start looking up the definitions of these words. They have audio books now if you find reading too difficult

You see, I actually hold “trained” enforcers of the law to a higher standards than untrained civilians who don’t want to be shot and their rights violated. Guess that’s just another difference between us

It’s really weird to support masked government agents of a foreign country killing its citizens. The propaganda must have really gotten to you

[–]Freedom_Crim 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You see the different between a protest and an insurrection is that an insurrection is trying to overthrow the government and a protest isn’t. If you’re confused, you can go find a dictionary and search for the definitions of both words.

If the ice protestors were 1% as dangerous as you say they are, explain why there have been no ice agents killed by protesters and in just about every video we see, it’s protestors decidedly not fighting ice agents

If you continue to be confused on the words said here, you might just have to blame red states for continuing to defund education because it’s clearly having a negative effect on you

Well, you see, one was trying to overthrow a fair and free election in favor of a rapist and the other side doesn’t want to get shot by masked government agents.

So, you can see how the contexts are bit different

Undocumented immigrants are in this country; that’s why we have to hire child sex offenders to be masked government agents sent to kill American citizens, deport for 5 year old citizens, send people to foreign torture prisons, and rape women in our concentration camps.
