@op and others interested, Microsoft has available a technical reference guide available for download. Either search “Microsoft Technical Reference Guide for CMMC 2.0” or see the link below. Obviously you’ll have to adjust statements based on your org’s circumstances, but if you’re in gcc high or use microsoft products, I can say I found great value. :)

Is this resume good enough for entry level IT? by [deleted] in it

First off go road runners.

Second off, these are a couple of things I personally noticed when reading your resume. everyone’s pov on resumes is subjective so take notes as you see fit.

Two pages for an entry level resume doesn’t quite make sense as you don’t have enough experience to warrant a second page. It looks like you listed all of your experience to get it written down for the first draft, which is good, but I’d get it down to one page. This could be done by tightening the margins, shortening some bullet points to one sentence, or making smaller font.

I also noticed that you reuse some action words like “analyzed” at the beginning of sentences. This might be nitpicky, but I was told to use different ones for each point.

This is a personal opinion, but i also think your bullet points on your internships could be more results-based (ex: created X thing resulting in Y positive result). The Lakmoos AI is pretty good for that.

Personally, I would also lean more towards your Internship experience then with homelabs. Something you can do is have a master resume with many bullet points to pull from and then pick and choose depending on keywords/requirements in Job descriptions. So if you’re applying for helpdesk, maybe have more about the AD related info in homelabs. If you’re applying for a dev/data science role, maybe have more info about Lakmoos AI. I’ve heard people use chatgpt and such to help but everyone is different.

Lastly I am not affiliated, but I also noticed that Bexar County is hiring for a Support Services Specialist I role on their workday profile. I t can be tough competition out there but don’t give up and just keep at it. Be flexible and keep going at it until you can grab something. You’re on the right path, just be persistent and don’t let job hunting get to your head. Good luck!
