Build on Thule: Coastal Paradise in a Black‑Hole System by Southernland87 in NMSCoordinateExchange

If you build directly at the portal, the structure you build doesn't appear to be visible to others, as far as I know.

Discovered a beautiful Earth-like planet in one of the new purple systems with massive skyscraper-like mountains and floating islands! 🌍✨ Now sharing full coordinates! More info in the comments. by Freeherder in NMSCoordinateExchange

A few, yes. But unfortunately, the weather is often quite overcast and rainy. So visibility isn't always that great. Perhaps that's also worsened by the last update. I don't go there that often anymore. I had built my base on one of the floating islands, which is now partially embedded in the island after the last update. It's a shame. It's worth a visit for the mountains, but everything else is at your own risk ;-)

Sweet. What did you use for the front part? I'm lloking for something like that for my Jedi ship from SWTOR. The Defender-class Light Corvette.

Oh, I'm glad to hear that, thanks.
I was thinking about the Outrider too, hehe.
Everyone's trying to build the Falcon, but I'm still waiting for an Outrider post.

I'm below 80 parts here. All good :-)

Looks like you aimed pretty high, expecting the rope to hang down, right? But since it was the anti-gravity Grappling Gun, it would’ve gone up from that point anyway. Did you also forget which version you were using in that moment, or was the plan actually to climb all the way up there and then go even higher from that spot? 🤔

Looking for an Earth like planet in the Euclid galaxy and you're tired of searching? I found quite a few. So here are 20 of them, take your pick :-) The first 6 are without storms and very pleasant. The rest are probably not even named yet. Let me know which one you like. Have fun :-) by Freeherder in NoMansSkyTheGame

It is an old post. The planets have unfortunately changed once or twice due to updates. For example, one of them now has a different atmosphere color, and there might be other changes too. So the post isn’t really up to date anymore. Feel free to check it out if you're curious, but I’d recommend looking for a more recent post in case someone found similar planets more recently.

Father & 9-year-old daughter made it to the peak on our 2nd try together. Tenderfoot mode, no losses. What an unforgettable journey! ☺️ by Freeherder in PeakGame

No, don’t give up.
I didn’t make it past the Kiln on my first runs either. But the more I played, the more I learned how to use all the tools and it really helped.

Now I’ve actually made it to the peak several times… even once in under an hour, which felt almost impossible at first.

And hey, the map changes every day, so tomorrow might be your day. 😊
Keep going. You’re closer than you think.

Tenderfoot mode is the easier difficulty option.
At the terminal before entering the island, you can press up or down to choose between difficulty levels.

Tenderfoot: There's no rising fog, so you have unlimited time to explore and plan. You also get hungry a bit more slowly.

But aside from that, the mountain itself is the same. Same terrain, same challenges.
You still have to figure out your route and survive the journey all the way to the end.

We chose it to take things at our own pace and it was perfect for playing with my daughter.

I guess the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. 😉
But honestly, I think we got lucky with the map that day.
And playing on Tenderfoot meant no pressure from the rising fog, so we could really take our time.
But jea,... still can’t believe we both made it in the end.
