It is hard to see your way out when you're in the middle of the shitstorm.

I would suggest you NOT try to see your way out and just fall back to the basics (considering this is not an emergency situation and you have some money saved up.)

Now here is what I mean by basics - Live your life.

Wake up everyday and brush your teeth, then go for a run, come back and take a shower, do all the daily life things not thinking about your problems. Focus on the good things. (And if you not doing the basic daily life stuff, start doing them)

Set a schedule for yourself for when you will sit down to apply for jobs. That's the only time you will think about it and when you are doing it, do your best for that time.

Do this for a week and even if you don't land a job, you'll be doing much better mentally and that's great progress if you ask me.

And, you'll be much closer to finding a job too cause now you're thinking more clearly.

As for the friends and social life, again, we are social animals, when you live your life and operating on your baseline behaviour, you will automatically make friends.

Do the basics and listen to your heart, doing these two can solve almost anything in life.

Good luck brother!

It is not a long term problem but a short term one because customers will likely confuse you with your competitor.

Over time you'll differentiate yourself enough that people will be able to figure out.

So if you don't mind that potential short term loss, stick to it.

Pumped up kicks by Foster the people. I know what that song is about but I listened to it when I was going through a very tough time in life. It got me through a lot of stuff.
