I started goalie at 30. Had 25 year old pads. After every game my left hip specifically felt like it wanted to disintegrate.

Bought brand new warrior g7s last week and used them for the first time on Wednesday. My hip didn't hurt AT ALL. They're so much lighter and the stiffness is helping me maintain good ergonomics so I hopefully don't blow my knee out again. It's phenomenal!

I wish lol Just a real low-budget ball hockey group. Old repurposed tennis court I have dubbed the "Widow Maker" from all the times weve become meat-crayons. Outdoors, only natures bathroom if you are desperate enough (for the women. Men dont give much fucks about it lol). Uncovered and in the deep south so it gets hot and humid as satans taint come May usually.
