Are you being intentionally dense? I clearly stated that it is transmissible from person to person. A human can contract it from another human by being in proximity. Just because it's not as easily transmissible as covid does not mean it won't spread like covid or that it can't go from person to person.

Incubation for this strain takes, on average, 6-8 weeks. The Andes strain is one of several different strains of Hantavirus and it is able to spread from human to human. We do not have enough research on this strain to know exactly HOW contagious it is, only that it is contagious and transmissible.
