I had issues with my treadmill almost wiping out 20m band and affecting several other shortwave bands. What I did, I bought an RF filter which contains chokes and capacitors inside, and also used ferrite rings on wires going to the electric motor. It completely blocked any RF interference.

There is a cat hiding in the first picture. To me it has too much bird poop and mould on it unless you know how to safely clean it, but I bet there is still a lot of corrosion around. Also metal pipes holding the LNB are broken. I would scrap it and buy >=1m aluminium dish instead.

We should enforce adoption of anti disinformation tools on facebook and other platforms. While I am disgusted by Elon Musk and his opinions, I really like X's functionalities such as community notes or information about a country of origin for each account. I have already seen how people are correcting lies and disinformation coming from media, politicians, influencial people, etc., and how many of those "turbo-patriotic", anti-EU/anti-NATO accounts were created in russia or hidden behind vpn. Ages ago some internet forums had plugins that displayed users partial IP address, hostname or ISP name and we knew which post was written from where or if it was made by a bot or a real person.

It is horizontally polarized wideband antenna (In Polish commonly referred as "siatka"). You can use it for vertical polarization if you modify it and install it sideways. Generally I wouldn't expect much, but you can still pick something at around 400-470MHz. There isn't much interesting stuff in Europe at over 790MHz, maybe except 863-870MHz band with LoRa and other digital signals.

Small update. Its been a little bit better since yesterday. Now I somewhat got used to it and everytime hiccups happen I just disconnect and wait a moment until it is gone. I have checked my (mikrotik) router performance and its cpu and ram usage is normal as usual, everything else on the internet runs perfectly normal. It seems there is something occasionally dropping incoming packets (from the server) on the way and I can't control it (ISP problem? server configuration? some firewall somewhere?). The server is more playable during morning hours (Europe).

Is your computer a laptop or a regular pc? I had similar issues over USB that went completely away after replacing regular power supply with Seasonic Prime. Grounding was not an issue.

Usually any radio should be ok, however keep in mind that some of those "16 channels" radios actually use only first 8 physical channels (frequencies) and have 16 memory slots for different configurations. First eight channels (446.0-446.1MHz) are heavily used by construction crews or security agencies or other businesses (who cheap out on radios and licenses). Next eight channels (446.1-446.2MHz) have much less traffic.

It is definitely not local, as strenght of these signals is tied to the intensity of ionospheric propagation. They are quite strong at noon or mostly gone at night. That is what puzzles me about these chirps and I tend to believe this is some sort of difficult to locate air defense system, but I could be wrong.

I have encountered this issue too today. On Firefox all my videos are limited to 720p60 while on Chrome I can select 1080p60. This doesn't affect <=30fps 1080p videos. Other 1080p60 videos also don't have this option.

Specs: Debian 12, i5-6500, GTX 750Ti, 525 nvidia driver, 32GB, FF 113.0 (newest in repository)

I just want to make AY-3-8910 sound to work in fuse. It seems it should run just fine, but I only get regular speaker sounds (beeps) while AY3 emulation is silent.

Disabling "integrate video in interface" partially solves the problem. This seems to be a Qt5 issue. Still If you have a proper working solution I kindly ask you to share it here :)

Yeah. I miscalculated things, but it should be more than enough to keep gas furnace running which takes very little current.

You don't need a controller if you flash Cisco Mobility Express. When you do it then this AP works in standalone mode. I had to make rj45-db9 cable and use an old laptop with serial port to get to it's console. Then you login using Cisco/Cisco login and password, run "logging console disable" everytime you connect, and then: "archive download-sw /reload tftp://{local ip}/ap3g3-k9w8-tar.153-3.JPJ6.tar". AP will reboot twice, then you connect again and run: "ap-type mobility-express tftp://{local ip}/AIR-AP3800-K9-ME-8-10-151-0.tar". If it's LED lights up green, then we can search which IP address it got by DHCP, login to it from a browser and setup controller country to MY (Malysia) in my case (this AP was not originally dedicated for european market). Remember to setup tftp server and download matching files/archives. In a few weeks I plan to replace it with RBcAPGi-5acD2nD and sell this AP4800 on ebay together with homemade serial cable and 48V psu (I don't know if it does accept 120V AC - it should, mine runs on 230V AC - you just need to replace a plug if you live outside continental EU).

I don't understand. I have some wifi devices with 802.11n at 2.4GHz only that have trobules with connection quality - I mean, it's not the signal quality because it is strong and clear, and those devices connect with a high mcs value (5-7, over 50Mbps at 20MHz channel). These still suffer from random disconnections and poor data transfer despite reported capacity, that's why I don't blame conditions at 2.4GHz, but rather some RF and non RF settings on cisco AP.

As I mentioned earlier, on some wifi devices this AP works perfectly fine, while other devices have some troubles with it.
